Netanyahu, Pollard Awaits Obama's Response

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in an unprecedented move at the beginning of January 2011 finally ceded to requests from the Israeli public to write a letter to President Obama. In the letter, Netanyahu urged the President to commute Jonathan J. Pollard's life sentence.

Netanyahu stated in his letter, "since Jonathan Pollard has now spent 25 years in prison, I believe that a new request for clemency is highly appropriate." Pollard's poor health was another major factor in Netanyahu's decision to write the letter.

The White House has noted that they recieved the letter and are reviewing it.

Netanyahu's letter marked the first time that an Israeli Prime Minister formally called for Jonathan Pollard to be released. Many prominent U.S. officials have concurred with Netanyahu's sentiment, such as George Shultz, Michael Mukasey, and James Woolsey, and wrote similar letters to the President urging executive clemency.

Since acknowledging that they received Netanyahu's letter, the White House has been mum on the Pollard case and has not stated when the President intends to respond to Netanyahu.

Will President Obama formally respond to Netanyahu's letter or will he keep him hanging like he did the second time that the Israeli Prime Minister visited the White House? It is almost February and no response has been given by the White House. Time will tell.

In the meantime, Netanyahu will be sitting in the waiting room twiddling his thumbs. How is that for another snub.

To Groin or not to Groin?

You want to fly this Thanksgiving to get grandma's turkey? Well, if you do, you better be ready to get some of your stuffing checked by a groping TSA official.

Alas, we have reached the point in U.S. history where it is legal for another person of the same-sex to touch you in an area where only you or your spouse have exclusive rights. This open nothing off-limits touching policy only applies if you opt out of or refuse to have an x-ray picture taken of your naked body as if that is even a viable alternative.

Do we deserve to be subjected to such a sexual assault in the name of national security? The answer to that question depends on who you ask. Some will say absolutely not. Others have said if "I have to be touched in a private area in order to fly safely, then I am all for it."

To Groin or Not to Groin is finally upon us.

I fall in a gray area. While I am not at all enamored with the idea of a minimum wage TSA employee putting his hands on a No Touching Zone, I also understand that in an age of terrorism we have to loose some of our rights to ensure our safety. However, I would only accept such a blatant and gross infringement of privacy if it actually protected us from terrorism.

In this case, the x-ray images and invasive pat downs which we are now accustomed to in U.S. airports are not protecting us from terrorism or airplane hijackings at all. In fact, they are being implemented in such a way that terrorists could easily walk right through security without being targeted for pat downs or even x-ray images.

As far as I am aware, you only need to choose between an x-ray image of your naked body or a rather intrusive touch-up of your intimate areas if you are specifically asked to be targeted for the body scanner. Otherwise, you walk through the security checkpoint like its always been done before.

This is not proper or efficient security. Moreover, it will not protect us from another attack as people are randomly being subjected to the intrusive treatment whether they resemble terrorists or not. Children as young as three have been patted down in an intrusive manner as has 80 something year old grandmothers in walkers. Whereas, Middle Eastern women with Burkas or Middle Eastern men with one-way tickets to a far away island somewhere routinely stroll by security with little fanfare even though they are more likely to fit the profile of a suspected terrorist.

It is because the body scanners and the pat downs are useless in the fight against terrorism that I am adamantly opposed to them. No one should be subjected to having their groin examined let alone by a High School dropout TSA official. However, if we have no choice but to subject ourselves to such a treatment, then let it be worth something. Unfortunately, our children and elderly among the rest of ourselves are forced to be publicly humiliated in the name of government incompetence rather than national security simply because we have opted to cash in on our freedom to fly.

At the end of the day, pat downs and naked body scanners should only be permitted if there is a reasonable suspicion that the traveler is a threat to national security. If there is no viable threat, the citizenry 's privacy should be the government's paramount interest.

The problem is of course TSA officials are not competent enough to decipher whether a Middle Eastern looking man from Saudi Arabia is more of a threat to national security than a three year old American boy from Kansas.

If you really want this invasive policy to change, I suggest that you contact President Obama at the White House and demand that he preserve the privacy of the American people since he is the one who authorized the TSA to carry out these pat downs in the first place.

Obama calls Republicans 'enemies'

Remember when Obama was above the fray...........

Not anymore. President Obama has become just like the Washington that he vowed to change when running for President in 2008.

On a Hispanic radio station, Obama urged Latinos to vote Democrat in order to prevail over our 'enemies' meaning to prevail over 'Republican enemies.' He later admitted that calling Republicans enemies was a poor choice of words.

If you thought calling Republicans enemies was over the top, Obama gave a speech recently at a political event and told the crowd that Republicans can join Democrats if they like but they have to "get in the back seat."

Could you imagine if a Republican during the 2008 campaign told Obama to "get in the back seat?" There would be massive protests and total mayhem.

Not so with Obama. He gets a free pass. At least though we can now say that Obama is not above the political rhetoric that has plagued Washington for years. He is now part of the problem.

Sarah Palin On The Offensive

With just a few days before voting begins on November 2nd that could potentially bolster Republicans to power once again in the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate, a new and fresh controversy is brewing in Alaska which involves none other than Sarah Palin.

The Republican Senatorial candidate Joe Miller is in a tight race with the current Republican turned Independent Senator Lisa Murkowski. (Murkowsi lost to Joel Miller in the Republican Primaries and became an Independent to run in the General Election).

Miller has leveled a charge against the CBS affiliate in the Anchorage Alaska area KTVA asserting that the CBS affiliate was attempting to concoct a falsified story in order to bring down the Miller campaign only days before the midterm November elections.

Apparently, a CBS staffer called Miller's spokesman to schedule an interview. Miller's spokesman did not answer and the call went to voicemail. Instead of ending the call, the CBS staffer was accidentally overheard talking to another staffer about possible stories that could derail the Miller campaign. The spokesman's voicemail recorded the conversation. In the recorded conversation, one staffer is heard clearly telling the other staffer to get a list of Miller's campaign volunteers to see which one is a child molester.

KTVA is denying that there ever was an attempt to create a nonexistent story which could cause Miller to loose the election on November 2nd. The News Director of KTVA claimed that the staffers were merely discussing possible stories about the Miller campaign.

Meanwhile, Sarah Palin is not buying KTVA's explanation and neither is Joe Miller.

Palin added some more flames to the controversy going on Fox News today with Chris Wallace blasting the media calling them "corrupt bastards" as she sees a double standard in the media in its bias towards Republican candidates.

Paramedic Is Called to the Scene of His Murdered Wife

One day before the Obama Administration succeeded in resuming peace talks between the Palestinians and the Israelis, Israel was rocked by another terrorist attack.

The West blamed the attack on "militants" who were looking for an opportunity to sabotage the resumption of peace talks. For Israelis, the attack was another indication that peace with the Palestinians is an impossible reality.

In the latest terrorist attack, a car with four people inside came under fire in the West Bank by Palestinian snipers from Hamas. When it was all over, all four people were massacred with gun shot wounds spearing their internal organs. The four occupants in the vehicle were Yitzhak Ames, 47, and his wife Tali Ames, 45, Kochava Ben- Haim, 37, and Avishai Schindler, 24. The husband and wife had picked up two hitchhikers. While en route to their destination, the Palestinian terrorists fired on the vehicle from afar and then approached the occupants and fired on them at close range.

When paramedics arrived on the scene, all of the victims bodies were strewn on the street.

In an anguishing turn of events, completely unaware of what he was about to discover, Momy Ben-Haim one of the paramedics who was called to the scene of the terrorist attack was shocked to observe his wife Kochava's body strewn on the ground. Kochava happened to be one of the doomed hitchhikers who was picked up for a ride by Mr. and Mrs. Ames.

When observing his dead wife lying motionless on the ground, Ben-Haim screamed and shouted "That’s my wife! That’s my wife!" He was taken away from the scene immediately to his home.

Terrorist attacks in Israel are not just attacks on the victims. They are an attack on the entire nation.

If the Palestinians ever have any shot of convincing Israelis that they are committed to peace, they will have to rein in on the terror that killed these four occupants and wrecked the life of an innocent paramedic who had no way of knowing that his life would be changed forever in a matter of minutes as he embarked on the scene of unfortunately a routine terrorist attack.

Obama has weighed in on the Ground Zero Mosque controversy.

Can anyone guess where the President stands on this issue?

No surprise. Obama supports the building of the Mosque next to Ground Zero.

He told reporters during a trip in Florida "Muslims have the right to build a mosque near New York's Ground Zero."

Obama later clarified his remarks by stating that he did not intend to comment on the wisdom of the project.

Either way, Obama is in tank with a Mosque which is funded by radical Islamicists.

And the fallout is just beginning. GOP Senator John Cornyn predicts that Obama's support for the Mosque could hurt him politically in the Fall elections.

Zakaria Snubs the ADL

CNN's Fareed Zakaria, Host of Fareed Zakaria GPS, made his own headline this week when he sent shock waves across the media world announcing that he was returning an award that he received from the ADL in 2005.

The Anti-Defamation League, headed by Abraham Foxman, is one of the premier civil rights organizations in the United States whose mission is to fight all forms of racism in particular Antisemitism.

The ADL awarded its Hubert H. Humphrey First Amendment Freedoms Prize to Zakaria five years ago.

Zakaria was disturbed that the ADL opposed the building of the Ground Zero Mosque which prompted him to return the award, including a $10,000.00 stipend, to the ADL. Zakaria claimed that he could not in good conscience keep the award in light of the ADL's opposition to the Ground Zero Mosque.

Abraham Foxman responded by asserting that he was "stunned, saddened and speechless" by Zakaria's decision to return the award.

Unfortunately, Zakaria has taken his liberal agenda too far.

While it is true that the ADL does have an illustrious record in promoting and encouraging religious freedom, it can not be expected to support an institution which is funded by the very radical elements which perpetuated 9/11.

The ADL and others have made the decision to oppose the building the Ground Zero Mosque for a very legitimate reason since it correctly believes that constructing such an institution in close proximity to the ruins of the World Trade Center would be an affront to the memories of the victims of 9/1.

The founder of the Ground Zero Mosque claims that he funded the building of the Islamic center to foster interfaith dialogue. However, Faisal Abdul Rauf is notorious for spewing anti-American rhetoric.

Madeline Brooks of the American Thinker overheard Rauf in one of his sermons denying that Muslims perpetuated 9/11. This illogical delusional mindset is consistent with an interview Rauf gave on CNN after 9/11. In the interview, Rauf blamed the U.S. for 9/11 asserting "U.S. policies were an accessory to the crime that happened. We [the U.S.] have been an accessory to a lot of innocent lives dying in the world. Osama bin Laden was made in the USA."

Rauf has also blabbered in the past "terrorism will end only when the West acknowledges the harm it has done to Muslims."

Does Zakaria really believe in good faith that the ADL would support a Mosque spearheaded by a terrorist-supporting Imam?

Rauf is also known to be connected to the radical Islamic terrorist sympathizer group CAIR. His organization, Muslim Leaders of Tomorrow, which raised the $4.85 million in cash dollars for the Ground Zero Mosque, is associated with Saudi Arabian leaders.

How could anyone support the building of Mosque so close to Ground Zero funded by the very country which raised the 9/11 hijackers?

Moreover, if anyone believes that this Mosque is not going to be a conduit for the radical Islamization of America, think again.

In addition to Muslim Leaders of Tomorrow, Rauf started the Cordoba Initiative. The Cordoba Initiative endorses Sharia law and monitors how each country, including America, follows Sharia law. Sharia law is a rigid system which requires that governance be based on the Koran without any democratic intervention.

Rauf is now bringing his Cordoba Initiative Saudi -backed Muslim Leaders of Tomorrow partnership to the very heart of America.

Shame on Zakaria for publicly deriding the premier Jewish civil rights organization simply because they refused to support an Islamic terrorist enterprise.

Freedom of religion does have its limits which Zakaria fails to understand.

In retrospect, it is a good thing that Zakaria returned the award to the ADL. He does not deserve to have such a distinguished award after all.

PLO Gets Upgrade in Washington

The Obama Administration has upgraded Mahmoud Abbas's diplomatic status in Washington. His offices in DC will now be allowed to fly the PLO flag. The flag raising privilege is granted to an entity with delegation status or embassy status. The PLO now have delegation status which means that PLO diplomats in Washington will also have diplomatic immunity although the PLO still does not have embassy status.

Unfortunately, the PLO continues to be granted these diplomatic niceties on an almost automatic basis despite the fact that Abbas has showed no commitment to making peace with Israel and has made no effort to cease anti-Israel incitement on PA TV.

On the other hand, Israel has to give away the highway for Bibi Netanyahu to be permitted to stay at the Blair House for his meeting with President Obama. Go figure.

If you want to take a break in criticizing Israel and branding the Jewish State as a pariah country and a human rights violator even when you have no evidence to support your anti-Israel viewpoints, I found the perfect place where you can turn your human rights supporting energies while you rest up before returning your attention to Israel.

Where is that perfect place?

The USA? Nope think again.

England? Nope think again.

Australia? Nope think again.

Can't think of another place that has human rights violations other than Israel and the United States?

Well let me give you a little help.

NEWS HEADLINE: IRAN PLANS ON KILLING A PREGNANT WOMAN

A Tehran court has ruled that a 25 year old woman convicted of adultery (who knows whether in fact this woman even committed adultery) will be put to death by stoning. The Judge shockingly decided to stone Maryam Ghorbanzadeh despite the fact that she is pregnant. Her attorney claims that Maryam will not be put to death until after she delivers. Whether or not Iran will have mercy on a pregnant woman remains to be seen. Since the ruling, Iran has made it clear that it will not stone Ghorbanzadeh but she could still be killed by other means.

Chances are not good that Ghorbanzadeh will escape death before she delivers if an Iranian Judge was sadistic enough to sentence a pregnant woman to stoning for supposedly committing adultery. Even if she escapes death until after delivery, a baby boy or girl will most likely grow up without a mother because of a cruel and inhumane Iranian judicial system.

Ghorbanzadeh is one of many Iranian women who have been sentenced to death or lashes for committing the crime of adultery. Iran's judicial system is so heavily slanted in favor of the husbands of these women that it purposefully ignores any evidence which debunks fallacious claims of adultery. The courts in Iran accept the accusations of Iranian men that their wives have had extramarital affairs with alacrity which means that if an Iranian man wants his wife dead; all he has to do is accuse her of adultery.

Iranian women are not on the same power chain to accuse their husbands of adultery and have any expectation of being heard in Court as it is acceptable for Iranian men to have more wives and not for Iranian women to have relations with other men.

For example, 19 year old Azhar Bakri was sentenced to death because her husband accused her of having an extramarital affair. Bakri married her husband when she was only 14. Unfortunately, Bakri has suffered unbearable abuse by the guards while in prison as she awaits her death by stoning.

Iran is a country that is replete with egregious human rights violations of the worst kind on a daily basis. The leadership has no qualms about forcing their people to accept its radical Jihadist ideology through violence. It is a totalitarian brutal dictatorship stuck in an incomprehensible mindset that follows rigid constricted Islamic rules that have no place in the 21st century.

To stone a pregnant woman or any woman for that matter for committing adultery (most of the time there is no evidence of adultery) in a modern day era is an outrageous miscarriage of justice and a gross encroachment of international law and human rights.

It would therefore behoove the United Nations and its purported human rights partners to focus its wrath on the real source of human rights violations and horrific acts of violence against women in Iran.

Somehow my hunch tells me that the United Nations will continue to fall asleep at the wheel.

However, at least I gave the United Nations with an opportunity to shift gears if it gets tired in condemning Israel for building homes in East Jerusalem.

Doubting Obama's Sincerity

After two meetings with President Obama which ended with a cold shoulder, Israeli Prime-Minister Netanyahu has finally received his long awaited and much anticipated White House photograph with the U.S. President. (Mahmoud Abbas had no trouble getting his photograph taken with the President)

Not only did Netanyahu have an opportunity to smile for the cameras, he also was allowed to stay at the coveted Blair House right across the street from the White House instead of opting for a standard Washington DC hotel.

Israel's Ambassador to the United States, Michael Oren, joked ahead of the Obama-Netanyahu meeting "There are going to be more photographers there than at the Academy Awards.”

There is no question that the change in the White House treatment of Netanyahu is in response to an attempt by Obama to lure Jewish voters to the Democrats' side just in time for the November 2010 elections.

Will Jewish voters take the bait? I would imagine some will unfortunately.

But, the real question is how long will Obama's rosy treatment of Netanyahu last?

Obama asserted today at his July 6th meeting with the Israeli Prime-Minister that he and Netanyahu are 'friends.' "The press in Israel and the U.S. like to make a story," Obama retorted.

But, the press did not concoct a story when President Obama denied Netanyahu photo-op opportunities and left the Israeli entourage stranded in the White House last March. Friends do not treat friends the way Obama has snubbed Netanyahu during his two previous meetings at the White House.

The press was simply doing its job in reporting the news for a change.

While Netanyahu was treated better this time around, his grand entrance to the White House on July 6th did not come without high costs.

If you remember, Netanyahu was scheduled to meet Obama last month at the White House. Obama canceled that meeting following the Flotilla incident telling Netanyahu to "go home." [Netanyahu was in Canada when Obama abruptly canceled the meeting]

In order for Netanyahu to have his July 6th meeting with Obama under cordial terms, Israel had to significantly ease its naval blockade of Gaza which it did to Obama's approval.

Before the next meeting, Obama also expects Israel to extend its settlement freeze in the West Bank which expires in September.

By some chance Israel decides to not extend the settlement freeze; will Obama return to his cold stance and ban photo ops at future meetings between the two leaders?

Will Obama turn on Netanyahu if he builds another bathroom in East Jerusalem?

If so, Netanyahu might want to book his hotel room at the nearby Motel 6 for his next visit to Washington.

Doubting Obama's sincerity is a logical reaction to the White House's royal treatment of Netanyahu. Obama played Netanyahu like a fiddle this time securing far reaching compromises from the Israeli leader that were prerequisites for the red carpet treatment at the White House on July 6th.

Even Mahmoud Abbas of the Palestinian Authority did not have to satisfy prerequisites for his recent meeting with Obama. All Abbas had to say was that the Palestinian Authority is not inciting its people to kill Jews which is an obvious lie and Obama was easily persuaded.

Clearly, Obama does not schedule his meetings with Abbas based on his perception of the Palestinian leader at the time of the meeting.

However, recent history has shown that Obama's treatment of Netanyahu depends on the political climate at the time of the meeting.

Jewish voters should be duly advised not to get their hopes up that Obama is a changed man. His mood swings will dictate how Netanyahu is treated the next time he visits Washington.

Obama could easily turn on Netanyahu at a moment's whim.

Obama Doctrine: Talk to Hamas

We were all accustomed to the Bush Doctrine. The Bush Doctrine pursued the elimination of terrorism wherever it can be found. Unfortunately, the Bush Doctrine has been replaced with the Obama Doctrine which espouses the complete opposite. Direct engagement with the very terrorists that President Bush vowed to destroy.

Obama Administration officials have praised Hezbollah calling them 'moderate.' The President has gone out of his way to reach out to Russia and the European Union who are notorious for powwowing with Arab terrorist-supporting regimes like Syria and Iran. It is well settled that no love is lost between Obama and Netanyahu Israel's Prime Minister. While Obama has done everything possible to distance himself from Netanyahu, he has done everything possible to cozy up to the Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and the Saudi King. It is thus quite clear that Obama has reversed the Bush Doctrine completely. Instead of distancing the U.S. from its enemies and embracing its friends which is what Bush believed, Obama distances the U.S. from its friends and embraces its enemies.

One may assert that it is too strong of a statement to state that Obama is embracing enemies of the United States. Well, the previous statement may not be far off if a report from Worldnetdaily is true. The report states that Hamas officials claim that members from the Obama Administration have already met with Hamas in Europe in secret meetings and that more meeting are planned for the future.

In the meetings, the U.S. officials asked Hamas to accept a Palestinian state in Gaza, the West Bank, and East Jerusalem. The U.S. officials would even be willing to make their meetings with Hamas public if they became more moderate.

Apparently, a U.S. official is scheduled to arrive in an undisclosed Arab country in the near future to deliver a telegram to Hamas from the Obama Administration.

The Obama Doctrine of reaching out to enemies of the United States originates from a perspective that the Bush Doctrine harmed U.S. interests at home and abroad by alienating the Arab world. In retrospect, the Obama Doctrine is the philosophy that is more harmful to U.S. interests at home and abroad.

By attempting to understand the enemy which the Obama Doctrine stands for, President Obama only intensifies the enemy's resolve to attack the United States. The enemy is not deterred by tolerance and understanding. Rather, the American drive to reconcile with terrorist organizations is a huge motivator for Hamas and others who share their thinking.

In actuality, these groups have no desire to come to any consensus with America. Hamas's perceived cooperation in meeting with U.S. officials is in fact their stepping stone for more ruthless attacks against the west. Hamas will ultimately use its connections with the U.S. as a ruse to enter the United States and push forward with its terrorist agenda.

While many were disenchanted with the Bush Doctrine, the Obama Doctrine is certainly a much scarier proposition. People may not have liked the fact that Bush supposedly meddled in other countries affairs by pursuing endless wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. However, the crux of the Bush Doctrine centered around protecting America at home and abroad.

The Obama Doctrine may be opposed to pursuing wars as Bush did, but it surely has no proven strategy to keep America safe if it strives to understand the modus operandi of terrorist organizations like Hamas.

Legitimizing a terrorist organization that is responsible for the deaths and maiming of thousands of innocent men, women, and children, is a recipe for disaster that will backfire on the Obama Administration.

Elena Kagan has had many notable stops along the way in her legal career. Namely, she was a University of Chicago Law School Professor, Dean of Harvard University Law School, Associate White House Counsel, and most recently Solicitor General of the United States.

However, no where in her impressive career will you find Elena Kagan in a Judicial position. Other than Judicial clerkships, Elena Kagan has never been a Judge. Not only has she never been a Judge, she has never tried a jury trial in her whole career. In fact, she only gained experience in federal appellate practice litigation when she was appointed the Solicitor General in January of 2009 by President Obama.

How can we be assured that Elena Kagan will be a competent Supreme Court Justice when she has never been a Judge and only has limited actual litigation experience? Will her academic career be enough to provide her with the foresight to effectively serve on the Supreme Court?

These are the questions that Elena Kagan will have to answer in her confirmation hearings which began on Monday. She will have to respond effectively to questions from Republican Senators who want to know where she stands on the most pressing judicial issues of the day.

At the end of the day, Kagan will likely be confirmed because the Democrats have the Majority in the U.S. Senate.

But, this should not be a partisan issue. Prior Judicial experience should be a prerequisite for serving on the Supreme Court. You could argue about President Bush's nominees Justice Samuel Alito and and Chief Justice John Roberts' judicial philosophies. You could also argue about President Obama's first nominee Justice Sonia Sotamayor's judicial philosophy.

But no one could ignore the fact that both Alito, Roberts and Sotamayor all had several years of prior judicial experience which seems to me should be a requirement to even be considered for the Supreme Court.

Now, the Senators and the rest of the legal profession will only be in the position to surmise the kind of Judge Elena Kagan will become rather than have a past record to base its decision on whether Kagan has the credentials to be on the Supreme Court.

This flimsy evaluation that the Senators now have to rely upon because of the choice that President Obama has made in picking Kagan does the American people a disservice because it potentially could put someone on the Supreme Court who does not have the background to adequately assess the most important issues of the day.

The Supreme Court is the deciding factor on issues raging from civil rights, political controversies, criminal rights, abortion, marriage, among other hot topics.

For all we know which is scarce at this point, Kagan could rely on her liberal philosophy rather than any judicial framework when serving as Supreme Court Justice which is a frightening proposition.

We therefore should at the very least expect that the President of the United States will select a nominee who knows how to be a Judge to avoid any attempt by the nominee to wholly push his or her political philosophy on the American people. That should be the very minimum requirement. Otherwise, the Supreme Court will become another Congress rather than the distinguished judicial institution that it is now.

Unfortunately, Obama chose again to put his own liberal agenda ahead of the desires of the American people.

87 Senators Sign Letter to Obama

On June 21, 2010, eighty seven Senators signed a letter to President Obama affirming their support for the State of Israel and in particular Israel's right to defend herself. Unfortunately, Israel's right to defend herself has been questioned and disregarded by the international community as a result of the fallout following the Flotilla incident.

The letter, sponsored by Senators Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell, contained the following language:

"We write to affirm our support for our strategic partnership with Israel, and encourage you to continue to do so before international organizations such as the United Nations. The United States has traditionally stood with Israel because it is in our national security interest and must continue to do so."

A similar letter was signed by seventy six Senators in April urging President Obama to stand with Israel after the President snubbed Prime-Minister Netanyahu during his last visit to the White House.

This latest letter had a more conciliatory tone which could explain why more Senators signed the letter this time.

Nevertheless, thirteen Senators did not sign the June 21st letter.

Turkey's PM behind the Flotilla

Kauffmans Commentary reported on December 7, 2009 of Turkey's close ties with the Iranian regime and its opposition to procuring sanctions against Mahmoud Ahmadenijad's Iran.

The Turkish organization IHH's involvement in funding the Mavi Marmara's attempt to sabotage the Israeli blockade of Gaza is more evidence that Turkey is more and more becoming one of the bastions of radical Islamic terror in the Middle East which is a drastic significant shift from its longstanding moderate stance.

We now know that Turkey's own Prime Minister had ties to the Mavi Marmara ship that was headed for Gaza. This revelation certainly clinches the widespread perception in the Middle East that Turkey is no longer a moderate nation which Israel could count on for bilateral ties.

The New York-based publication Hamodia reported in its June 16, 2010 edition that documents seized on the ship demonstrate a connection between Turkey's Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish officials and IHH.

A letter was found on the ship that was dated 10 days prior to Mavi Marmara's departure from the Turkish port. In the letter, an IHH representative requested the assistance of Turkish President Abdullah Gul to free an IHH member held in Israel. This letter reveals a cozy relationship between IHH and high-level Turkish officials suggesting that the Turkish government was well aware of IHH's hidden agenda in sending the Mavi Marmara to Gaza.

Passengers on board the Mavi Marma were more revealing in their testimonies with Israeli officials.

Some of the passengers stated that Recep Tayyip Erdogan personally knew of the Flotilla's intentions and did nothing to stop it. Those passengers stated that "the Flotilla sailed to Gaza with Erdogan's knowledge and blessings." According to these passengers, the Turkish Prime-Minister showed a personal interest in the Flotilla hoping that it would improve his status in the Arab world which he could exploit by using a confrontation with Israel to his advantage. Apparently, documents that were found on board the Mavi Marmara tend to support the contention of these passengers.

The documents found on board the ship also link the purchase of the Mavi Marmara to Erdogan. According to the discovered documents, the Mavi Marmara had been purchased by the IHH from a Turkish firm called IDO which was funded by the Istanbul Municipality. At the time the IDO was first formed, the Mayor of Istanbul was none other than Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Despite the evidence which reveals the Turkish Prime Minister's support of the Flotilla, others have told Israeli officials that Erdogan knew what the Flotilla was up to and tried to stop them unsuccessfully.

Either way, a picture is emerging which once again debunks any claim that this ship could have carried peaceful activists.

In reality, it is seemingly apparent that the Flotilla on the Mavi Marmara was in fact a state-sponsored Turkish operation backed by Turkey's very own Prime Minister.

John's appearance in Israel is particularly significant because many musicians have cancelled their scheduled concerts in Israel due to pressure from the Palestinian Authority and other organizations who sympathize with the Palestinians. Elton John refused to succumb to such pressure.

John, always an individual who beats to his own drum, told the enthusiastic crowd in Tel Aviv "Shalom, we are so happy to be back here! Ain't nothing gonna stop us from coming, baby. Musicians spread love and peace, and bring people together. That's what we do. We don't cherry-pick our conscience."

Pundits on the left blast Obama's Speech

President Obama has not had it easy lately with his co-politicos on the left much less with the right.

Prior to Obama's speech from the oval office, pressure had been mounting on Obama from his own party to show some leadership in responding to one of the worst environmental crises on American soil. James Carville, the former outspoken Clintonite, has been out there in recent weeks blasting Obama for not coming down to the Gulf sooner. He notoriously quipped in an interview on ABC "People are dying out here and the President looks like he is not involved in this [referring to the oil spill]."

Carville's unusual spat with a Democrat President could come from the fact that Obama went on vacation at the height of the oil spill which enraged the native Louisianan.

The onslaught of criticism from the left convinced Obama that he needed to return to the Gulf which he did over the weekend and assert the Administration's position on how to respond to the oil crisis in a prime time speech from the Oval Office.

Surprisingly, liberal pundits have been some of the most vociferous critics of the President's speech.

Chris Matthews, who went ga ga over Obama during the campaign, now says "I do not sense any executive command."

Huffington Post asks "what was the point of that terrible speech?"

Obama supporter Keith Olbermann opined "“It was a great speech if you were on another planet for the last 57 days.”

These sharp critiques from the left is not good news for the Obama Administration who hoped that a Presidential speech could mollify the criticism.

Obama could easily brush aside attacks from the right as partisan politics. He can not ignore similar attacks from his own party. When the left is critical of a Democrat President, there has to be validity to the claim that President Obama has not shown himself to be capable of responding forcefully and quickly to the oil crisis which is a blow to the message presented during the campaign that Obama is fit to respond to any crisis of any magnitude.

Whether or not it is true that Obama has failed miserably in responding to the oil crisis, that is the perception of an overwhelming amount of the American people which is all that matters in an election year.

But you should always be the judge.

No humanitarian supplies were found on the Mavi Marama.

What transpired here were terrorists who used the canard of a "humanitarian" mission to frame Israel as the aggressor. It has now been proven that their story which they told to the world over was a complete and utter lie as the intent of the ship passengers could not have been to deliver humanitarian supplies when no such items were found on board.

As Prime-Minister Netanyahu stated quite eloquently, the Mavi Marmara was no love boat but rather it was a hate boat committed to aiding and abetting Hamas terrorists in their desire to smuggle weapons.

Rabbi who filmed Thomas Receives Death Threats

Rabbi David Nessenoff of Rabbilive.com, now famous for filming Helen Thomas's anti-Semitic rant which abruptly ended her career, is reporting that he has received death threats and hate mail from people who blame him for Thomas's demise.

This is the classic modus operandi from the anti-Semites. They blame the Jews for everything under the sun rather than blaming themselves for their own inequities.

Even though Thomas brought upon her own demise for stating that the "Jews should go back to Europe," her supporters instead resort to attacking the Rabbi who could not have predicted that Thomas was going to make such an outlandish statement when he innocently asked her what she thought about Jews on Jewish Heritage Civilization Day.

One person who emailed Nessenoff stated "We're going to kill the Jews; watch your back.'"

Others have called for another Holocaust and threatened the Rabbi's family.

While most people in the U.S. have roundly condemned Helen Thomas's comments, those who have stood by her only highlight the fact that anti-Semitism is alive and well in the United States as it is in Europe.

We therefore can not become complacent in thinking that Thomas is the only renown person in Washington who would assert such despicable views if given the opportunity. It would not even be a stretch to state that Thomas's views are consistent with the perspective of a considerable amount of Americans.

In fact, this latest comment from Thomas is not the first time she has spewed anti-Semitic remarks. In 2002, she thanked Gd for Hezbollah and she also claimed that Israel is responsible for "99 percent of terrorism." (Hezbollah has issued a statement praising Helen Thomas for being "bold and courageous" in calling for the Jews to go back to Europe)

Rabbi Nessenoff did us a service by eliciting the removal of one of the most vicious anti-Semites working in the press corps. He should be applauded not condemned. We need more people like Rabbi Nessenoff.

The truth is that Helen Thomas should have been removed a long time ago.

Throughout U.S. history, Presidents from both parties have used profanity often accidentally over an open mic.

During the 2000 campaign, George W. Bush leaned over to Dick Cheney in what he thought was a private moment. Instead, he called a reporter an A Hole which was caught on TV and broadcasted on the news. Additionally, during a trip to London, President Bush was caught on tape using the word Sh*t to Tony Blair.

The current President has not been very subtle in using profanity. Recently, at the White House Correspondents Dinner, he made a joke about Joe Biden and used the F word. It had to beeped out by the networks. You know things have gone down hill when CSPAN has to bleep out the President.

Now, the latest profanity moment involving the President occurred with Matt Lauer of NBC's The Today Show interviewing Obama about his response to the oil spill crisis. Incredulously, Obama told Lauer that he has been consulting with experts to find out "whose ass to kick" for causing the oil spill.

We are not talking about a gaffe here on an open mic or even a camera that catches the President using profanity or a news report that attributes a profanity laced quote to the President. Rather, Obama has sit down with a respected reporter for an interview on a major network and he chooses to use shady unprofessional language to describe his current administration policy on how to deal with the crisis.

Is this how the President of the United States should be acting? For an individual educated in Ivy league schools, did he not learn more proper language with which to describe his frustrations?

Obama is now sending the message through his unprofessional discourse that it is perfectly acceptable to use profanity in the workplace. How unfortunate!

On behalf of all of my readers who share my position, I am writing to express my outrage at the anti-Semitic comments that your correspondent Helen Thomas made to Rabbilive.com on May 27th.

Helen Thomas has long been a virulent anti-Semite who harbors anti-Israel sentiments. She routinely asks questions of White House Press Secretaries which challenges them to criticize Israel. She certainly is not a fair-minded reporter. Her bias against the State of Israel and the Jewish people reflects poorly on her employer Hearst Newspapers. Unfortunately, Hearst Newspapers is represented in the White House by a correspondent who has such such an animus for one side in the Arab-Israeli conflict.

However, Thomas has exceeded all boundaries by asserting in rather a vindictive matter that the "Jews should go back to Europe" among other bigoted diatribes. Thomas may have apologized for her comments but they are not sincere given her history in expressing such views.

You know very well that if Thomas made those same comments about African-American people telling them to go back to Africa, there would be calls from every corner in the globe for you to immediately fire Helen Thomas. And, you would have no other alternative but to dismiss Helen Thomas from her duties as White House Correspondent.

Why should the comments that she made against Jews be treated any differently? Why are diatribes against Jews treated with kid gloves rather than an ironclad fist?

If Helen Thomas remains in her position as White House Correspondent, it will demonstrate that Hearst Newspapers tolerates antisemitism which will be an unfortunate proposition.

I urge you to take prompt action and fire Helen Thomas if only to demonstrate unequivocally that Hearst Newspapers is wholeheartedly opposed to the expressed anti-Semitic statements.

Helen Thomas, the legendary White House Press Correspondent, has been interviewing Presidents since the Eisenhower Administration. She is known in Washington for her liberal leanings. Thomas was adamantly opposed to the Iraq war and routinely clashed President Bush's White House press secretaries over that issue. But many people do not know is that Helen Thomas is a virulent anti-Semite and a staunch supporter of the Palestinian Authority. Her Lebanese descent may explain why she is so anti-Israel.

But Thomas recently stepped over the line when she told a reporter outside of the White House on Jewish Heritage Civilization Day this past May 27th that the Jews should go back to Europe and "get the hell out of Palestine."

Thomas, who is the correspondent for Hearst Newspapers which owns the Houston and San Francisco Chronicles among other newspapers, should be immediately removed from the White House Press Corps and Hearst Newspapers should immediately terminate her services.

Call the White House comments line at 202- 456-1111 and tell the White House operator that the President and his press secretary Robert Gibbs should no longer permit Helen Thomas to attend any press conferences at the White House.

You know Al Sharpton would be calling for Helen Thomas's dismissal if she the same incendiary remarks about Blacks. Lets cause a similar uproar.

Next Question: Why should the IDF be treated any differently when their soldiers are attacked by terrorists masked as humanitarian activists?

Answer: Because Jews are not allowed to defend themselves in the eyes of the international community. Instead, Jewish police officers/soldiers must permit the criminal/terrorist to beat them to death with metal rods, thrown them overboard in the water, and steal their guns without a reprisal attack.

Israel Self Defense on the Mavi Marmara

In a de ja vu moment which is so typical for the Middle East, Israel has been provoked once again by Palestinian activists to use force to defend themselves in order to spur an international public relations incident.

This is what usually occurs. The Palestinians resort to violence. When Israel responds to defend the lives of its soldiers and citizenry, Israel is blamed improperly and unfairly by the international community for causing the violence that was precipitated the Palestinians themselves.

Israel is now under fire for boarding a ship called the Mavi Marmara carrying Palestinian activists heading for the Gaza strip and killing at least ten people on board. The U.N. plans on holding a special session to condemn Israel. Ambassadors have been recalled to their home countries. Neighboring Turkey has issued a strong rebuke of the Israeli government.

Prime-Minister Netanyahu has canceled his visit to the White House to return to Israel to deal with the latest diplomatic upheaval plaguing Israel.

Unfortunately, as is typically the case, the criticism of Israel is unwarranted and misplaced.

Israel repeatedly asked the ship to dock in Ashdod where Israel would inspect the ship to determine if there was any security risks. If there were none, Israel would allow the materials on board to be transferred to the Gaza trip.

The so-called activists on the ship flatly refused Israel's offer and instead intended to transgress the blockade set up by the IDF to prevent weapons smuggling into Gaza.

Israel was left no choice but to board the ship. After all, there was no way of knowing whether this ship was backed by Al Qaeda or other terrorist organizations. The highest level of scrutiny is absolutely necessary especially since the ship did not heed Israel's offer to dock in Ashdod.

When Israel boarded the ship, the activists responded with violence beating the Israeli soldiers with sticks. One Israeli soldier was stabbed in the stomach. Some The activists even stole IDF guns and opened fire on the soldiers.

Israel simply had no other alternative but to respond and defend themselves which is exactly what they did.

The ship had no business being in a restricted zone in the first place. They are squarely to blame for not cooperating with the Israeli navy and they are wholly responsible for precipitating the violence on board which led to the ten deaths.

Yet, it does not matter that the activists are fully responsible for the incident. The activists know that they can cause violence and get away with it because the international community will always blame Israel and turn a blind eye to Palestinian violence.

We definitely live in an upside down world.

The Feinstein Disappointment

As President Obama prepares to welcome Israeli Prime-minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the White House on Tuesday in an another attempt to repair strained relations with the Israeli leader, Senator Diane Feinstein (D-CA) is urging Obama to pressure Israel to stop so-called settlement activity in East Jerusalem.

Feinstein, who was not one of the seventy six Senators who signed a letter urging President Obama to ease tensions with Israel in April, is now formulating a letter calling on the Obama Administration to ante up the pressure on the Israeli government.

It remains unclear whether Feinstein will be able to obtain co-signatories in an election year where Jewish support for the Obama Administration and the Democrat Party is at an all time low. Feinstein's letter would only add fuel to the fire.

In a letter to her constituents last month, Feinstein wrote "I have grave concerns about the expansion of Israeli settlements in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, and I believe that this issue is a major stumbling block to a peace agreement. In my view, settlement activity should be halted until an agreement is reached.”

The indisputable fact remains that the Arabs vowed to destroy the State of Israel and the Jewish people long before the 1967 war when Israel captured Jerusalem. There were homicide bombings which killed innocent Israelis long before Israel controlled Judea and Samaria. The Arabs were even eager to kill Jews before Israel became a state.

Feinstein is unwilling to accept the reality that even if Israel stopped all so-called settlement activity tomorrow, the Palestinian Authority will never give up on their desire to rid the Middle East of the Jewish people.

Despite the fact the Prime-Minister Netanyahu instituted a 10 month moratorium on so-called settlement activity in the West Bank at Obama's urging which is due to expire soon, the Palestinian Authority has been very reluctant to pursue peace and never misses an opportunity to blame the stalemate on Israel without making any concessions of their own.

While the Palestinian Authority remains indifferent to the notion of peace, it should also be duly noted that they openly glorify terrorists, brainwash their children to kill Jews, and form alliances with Hamas and other terrorist organizations operating in the Gaza region.

Feinstein's views on Middle East peace are clearly not logical. She is either delusional or has succumbed to her radical leftist ideology which is hostile to the Jewish state.

Indeed, it is mind boggling that Feinstein has no qualms with the Palestinian Authority naming a square after a terrorist who murdered a dozen Israelis. Yet, she has a conniption when Israel builds bathrooms in a Jewish neighborhood in Jerusalem.

Koch: Obama Speaks Softly And Carries No Stick At All

We are at war with radical Islam, and that war will go on for many years.

For me, the question is this: Will the secular Western civilization shared by America and Europe, which allows us to enjoy life and its creature comforts, still be standing at the end of that war? Or will radical Islam, with an aggressive culture that treasures martyrdom and death over life, prevail?

The vast majority of Muslims, of course, are peace-loving. The fanaticism found among the Wahhabists of Saudi Arabia is not found in many of the countries where a billion, 400 million Muslims live. Nevertheless, we know that radical Islamists want to convert us to their faith, either voluntarily or, if necessary, by force. Among the Islamist radicals there is a special hatred of Jews and Hindus and, to a lesser extent, of Christians. The hatred of Jews is such that some of the leaders of radical groups have called for the killing of Jewish civilians all over the world. For some, the Muslim rule is to permit Jews and Christians - as monotheists - to practice their religions, provided that they accept the supremacy of Islam and pay a poll tax - so described by Bernard Lewis, America's foremost scholar on Islam.

Mr. Lewis states: "This tolerance is limited to monotheists and recipients of what Islam recognizes as a revelation. It does not apply in any circumstance to those who are seen as polytheists and idolaters. For them the rule was indeed conversion or death, though the latter was rarely enforced and in the past was often commuted to enslavement. The Wahhabi demand, as far as I know, is not that Christians and Jews convert to Islam, but that they accept the supremacy of Islam and the rule of the Muslim state. On that condition, they may continue in the practice of their religion."

All this is by way of preface to a current controversy here in New York City concerning the construction of a mosque two blocks from Ground Zero at the World Trade Center site where near 3,000 people lost their lives in acts of terror perpetrated by 19 Muslim hijackers, 15 of whom were from Saudi Arabia, who deliberately flew two planes into the twin towers.

There are those who, understandably but nevertheless in error, object to the construction of this mosque, believing its presence would insult the memory of the victims of the terror. In my opinion, and I believe the opinion of many others, including the local community planning board and the local elected political leaders, it would sully the good name of the United States and New York City were the members of the mosque, which is permissible under existing zoning laws, prohibited from constructing it. While no one can be sure what activities will take place there, that is true of any religious institution. It also follows that none may violate the law with impunity.

What distinguishes the United States is our pluralism and tolerance for minority groups, religions of every persuasion and acceptance of the rights of those with policies and philosophies different than the prevailing views of the majority, provided they are non-violent and observe the law.

Having said that, and believing in our tolerance for others, I also believe we must be willing to defend our people and country against all attacks that are violent - tantamount to war - as well as those attacks that are unfair and intended to humble and denigrate our nation. It is infuriating to see Turkey, an actual NATO ally, and Brazil, a neighbor and trade partner here in the Western hemisphere, collude with Iran, which has said through its president that it wants the US to disappear and makes clear every day its enmity and threats directed at us and our ally, Israel. It is infuriating that North Korea threatens the world with its nuclear and missile arsenal and sinks a South Korean destroyer with a torpedo that an examining commission found to have North Korean markings, and no immediate military retaliatory action is taken, out of fear of consequences.

If Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the US Congress had failed to assist in the defense of Great Britain in its war with Germany, and Great Britain had gone down to defeat because early on we refused to become Great Britain's supplier of ships and other war materials out of fear of the consequences, we here in the US might be speaking German today instead of English. We would certainly no longer be the great and sovereign nation we are.

Have we lost the will to stand up to the bullies of the world? The administration points with pride to the fact that it is proceeding with sanctions against Iran at the Security Council and that it succeeded in bringing Russia and China to the point where they too have agreed to vote for sanctions. To accomplish this, however, the US had to agree to Russia's delivering arms to Iran, e.g., an anti-aircraft system that would be used to shoot down US and Israeli planes that might in the future seek to eliminate Iran's nuclear facilities. With respect to China and getting its consent to vote with us, we dropped sanction measures that would have crippled Iran's banking and financial institutions and prohibited the sale of gasoline to Iran, which has no conversion facilities, which would have devastated its economy.

Some will say that pointing out these failures of will is jingoistic. I believe these failures to stand up for allies and most importantly to stand up for ourselves is why we are taken less seriously by nations throughout the world than should be the case. When others fully respected us, we were able to keep the world at peace. We are losing that ability with each passing day, as we demonstrate our unwillingness to teach the bullies of the world the lessons they deserve.

Speak softly and carry a big stick, Teddy Roosevelt said. President Obama speaks apologetically and carries no stick at all. No wonder North Korea torpedoed that South Korean warship, something they would not have done in all probability if China had not quietly approved. No wonder Brazil and Turkey thumb their noses at us. We have become a laughingstock.

Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism, John Brennan, recently told a Washington conference that Hezbollah is a "very interesting organization." He made these remarks after returning from Lebanon where he met with Lebanese officials.

While at this conference, Brennan "praised" the so-called evolution of the terrorist organization when he stated that Hezbollah evolved from a "purely a terrorist organization to a militia to an organization that now has members within the parliament and the cabinet."

Brennan intends to work with the supposed moderate elements within Hezbollah not its extremist members.

We certainly have a serious problem on our hands when the Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism refers to a vicious terrorist organization as "very interesting" and also has adopted the canard perpetuated by Hezbollah that they are primarily a political organization.

Contrary to Brennan's glorified expectation of a 'moderate' Hezbollah, the terrorist organization is refilling its stockpile of weapons in blatant violation of UN resolution 1701 in order to position itself to launch new rocket attacks on Israel.

When Brennan travels to Lebanon to meet with the 'moderate' elements of Hezbollah, the other members of the organization will be getting the "last laugh" as they will be underground surreptitiously preparing their next attack.

Statements made by people like Brennan have the certain power to cause a change in one's worldview.

What is the greatest threat to world security?

Are the terrorist organizations themselves the biggest threat or could the threat be a U.S. government that because of political correctness is falling asleep at the wheel by refusing to recognize that terrorism is not synonymous with moderation.

Mr. Brennan, Hezballah and its vast network spearheaded by the teachings of radical Islam, has only one goal and that is the destruction of both America and Israel. Moderation plays no part in that goal.

By referring to Hezbollah as 'moderate,' Brennan and others who share this viewpoint give these organizations legitimacy which is another weapon that they use in their war against America and Israel.

Back off of Arizona

Ever since the Governor of Arizona Jan Brewer signed the state's Immigration Bill into law, Arizona has been under attack.

Neighboring states and cities have called for an outright boycott of Arizona.The Los Angeles City Council passed a resolution 13-1 which will prevent the city from doing any business with Arizona. There even was pressure on the LA Lakers to refuse to play the Phoenix Suns in the NBA playoff series.

San Francisco is also considering boycotting Arizona and signing a similar resolution as the Los Angeles City Council. In fact, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger weighed in against Arizona's Immigration law when he quipped at a commencement ceremony "I was also going to give a graduation speech in Arizona this weekend. But with my accent, I was afraid they would try to deport me."

Other cities, including Milwaukee, Austin, West Hollywood, Boston, Oakland, St. Paul, Washington, D.C., Boulder, and New York City are currently deciding whether to follow Los Angeles's lead and boycott Arizona as well. Bob Menendez, a Senator from New Jersey, is even calling on Major League Baseball to remove the 2011 All star game from Phoenix where it is now scheduled to take place.

Incredulously, Cardinal Roger Mahony of the Los Angeles Roman Catholic Archdiocese and Los Angeles city councilman Paul Koretz compared the Arizona law to the Nazi oppression during the Holocaust. Jewish groups are on record fiercely contesting such a comparison.

The criticism leveled against Arizona is unwarranted.

Jan Brewer, like all Governors, has a responsibility to protect her citizens from harmful actions by other individuals which is why she signed into law a Bill which is designed to address a growing problem of crime in Arizona committed by illegal aliens. In explaining her reasoning for signing the Bill, Brewer told Fox News "we've been inundated with criminal activity. It's just -- it's been outrageous."

According to the U.S. Department of Justice's National Drug Threat Assessment, there were 267 kidnappings committed by illegal aliens in Arizona in 2009 and 299 in 2008. These are astounding numbers which do not take into account the number of murders and burglaries that are also committed by illegal aliens.

The boycott of Arizona could cost the city of Phoenix an estimated 90 million dollars in lost revenue over the next five years.

Los Angeles and other cities who are boycotting Arizona are overstepping their boundaries by penalizing a neighboring state for taking action to address a serious issue affecting its citizens.

Furthermore, American drivers of all national origins are already required to present their driver's license to a police officer making a traffic stop. Why should an individual that is stopped legitimately by a police officer be exempt from showing documentation of legal status like a driver's license or green card as all Americans are required to do so when summoned by a police officer?

This law does not sanction racial profiling nor does it encourage police officers to harass individuals because of their Hispanic heritage. Police officers are only permitted to ask individuals for their papers once they are already suspected of committing a crime non related to their suspected status of being an illegal alien. Only then can they be deported if 'reasonable suspicion' exists. The law was simply created for the nonracial purpose of eradicating a growing problem of crime committed by illegal aliens.

If the LAPD and the San Francisco Police Department want to send their kidnapping units over to Arizona to help the Phoenix police crack down on crime commited by illegal aliens, I am sure that Governor Brewer would support repealing the Immigration Bill.

Until then, everyone should back off of Arizona.

Republican Group: GOP will take over the House

In an exclusive interview with Kauffmans Commentary, the Senior Administrator of the Young Republican Network Ira Geiger stated that the GOP will likely take over the House in the 2010 elections.

Geiger is less certain about the Republicans' chances of gaining control of the U.S. Senate. At the current moment, Geiger believes that the Republican party has a 50% chance of regaining the Senate.

According to Geiger, the prospect of the GOP gaining control of the Senate all depends on whether the Republican Party can win Senate seats in New York, Connecticut, California, and possibly Wisconsin and Washington. Republican Senate candidates in Delaware, North Dakota, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Illinois, Arkansas, Nevada, and Colorado are all expected to win in November which means that the Republicans will pick up eight seats and would only need to win at least three more seats to win back the U.S. Senate assuming that the Republicans can retain Florida and Ohio.

Ira Geiger also told Kauffmans Commentary that he believes young Republicans between the ages of 18 to 40 will have a greater influence in this year's election than in previous elections. "People have woken up. They took 2008 for granted," explained Geiger. He also reported that he has received emails from Democrats who are now supporting Republican candidates which is a new phenomena.

Geiger has been active in Republican politics for many years and has worked on the former Maryland Governor Robert Ehrlich's gubernatorial campaign in 2006 and most recently on Chris Christie's successful gubernatorial campaign in New Jersey.

The Young Republican Network was originally founded after the 2008 election. It currently serves as a grassroots website which reaches out to young professionals, students, entrepreneurs, and young business leaders informing them of the different Republican campaigns in the 2010 election cycle.

An estimated 25,000 people a day log onto the Young Republican Network's website to learn about the Republican candidates who are running in this year's election.

President Obama's assault on Israel is costing him votes in the Jewish community.

The McLaughlin Group recently conducted a Poll in the Jewish community asking the participants whether they would (a) vote for President Obama again or (b) whether they consider voting for someone else. 42% said they would vote for Obama and 46% said they would consider voting for someone else. 12% said they did not know or refused to answer.

This is a significant development because the Jewish community has been loyal supporters of Democrats and they are credited for helping Barack Obama become President in 2008. A whopping 78% of Jewish voters or perhaps more by some people's accounts voted for Obama.

If Obama loses Jewish support as this poll suggest he will, Obama will have a tough time getting re-elected in 2012.

To Freeze or not to Freeze

Ever since the recent fallout in U.S.-Israel relations over Israel's announcement that it would build 1,600 homes in East Jerusalem, Netanyahu and Obama have been going back and forth in sending mixed messages about whether there has been an agreement by the Israeli government to halt all East Jerusalem construction in order to appease both the Palestinians and Obama himself.

President Obama had insisted that Netanyahu cease all construction in East Jerusalem as a gesture to the Palestinians in order to start the Proximity Talks and as a means of repairing the much talked about rift in U.S.-Israel relations.

In order to appease Obama and the Palestinians, the Associated Press reported towards the end of April that Netanyahu relented on his promise not to stop building in East Jerusalem.

However, the Mayor of Jerusalem told the media during his visit to Washington a few weeks ago that building in East Jerusalem had not stopped.

Nevertheless, George Mitchell announced on Sunday that Israel agreed to a halt of all East Jerusalem Construction for a period of two years.

A day after Mitchell's euphoric announcement, Netanyahu adamantly told his Likud loyalists that there had been no agreement with the Americans to stop East Jerusalem construction and that construction in East Jerusalem would continue.

Someone is clearly dropping the ball here and playing diplomatic games.

One explanation for the mixed messages is that Netanyahu has to cater to the opinions of the Israeli public and in particular the more hawkish wing of his coalition government which is overwhelmingly opposed to any halting of East Jerusalem Construction. By Netanyahu making public statements in Israel which satisfies the more hawkish elements of the Israeli electorate while privately telling Obama that he intends to stop East Jerusalem Construction, Netanyahu can stay on good terms with the Obama Administration and his own government.

On the other hand, George Mitchell and the Obama Administration have an interest in satisfying the Palestinians. It is thus also plausible that Mitchell is claiming that Netanyahu has agreed to halt East Jerusalem construction when in fact he has not.

Either way these conflicting statements about whether or not there has been a halting of East Jerusalem Construction, is counterproductive.

If Mitchell is going to make baseless statements claiming that Netanyahu has agreed to halt East Jerusalem Construction, Netanyahu will be forced to refute those claims to his own party in order to keep his government intact. There is no sensible outcome in causing an uproar in the Israeli political scene to score points with the Palestinians. Otherwise, Obama will be seen by many as the President who meddled in Israeli affairs which will have political consequences for the Obama Administration.

However, if Netanyahu is the one who is playing the diplomatic games and Mitchell has correctly stated that Netanyahu did agree to halt East Jerusalem Construction, Netanyahu will be viewed as being untrustworthy and not consistent.

Quite frankly, Netanyahu should set the record straight in both his public appearances and private conversations with the Americans that Israel will continue to build in Jerusalem regardless of any criticisms by the Obama Administration as Israel has an absolute right to build in its own capital city.

As long as these conflicting statements continue to make headlines, people are going to wonder who is telling the truth which is only bad politics for both Netanyahu and Obama.

Paul Valleley warns in a video interview on PJTV.com of the possibility of preemptive strikes, chemical attacks, and tunnel incursions to be launched by Hezbollah in Lebanon on Israel this summer. Hezbollah reportedly has scud missiles with a 450km range which could reach northern Israel and perhaps even Tel Aviv.

Four years after the Second Lebanon War which also occurred in the summer, it has been widely believed that Hezbollah is rearming for another conflict with Israel despite the fact that U.N. Resolution 1701 called for its disarmament.

College Lacrosse Player Charged With First-Degree Murder

UVA College Lacrosse Player, George Huguely, is charged with killing his former girlfriend who also was a lacrosse player at the University of Virginia. Huguely allegedly repeatedly banged his former girlfriend's head into the wall until she was found unconscious in her dorm room with multiple blood forced trauma wounds.

Aside from focusing on this horrific act of domestic violence which can not be overlooked or underestimated, one has to ask why would a guy like Huguely do something like this if in fact he did as the evidence presently indicates?

In the long run, for most sane people seeking college degrees and athletic careers, there is no incentive to killing. Huguely had everything going for him. He was a top lacrosse player at UVA and was scheduled to play in the upcoming championship NCAA series. Who knows where his athletic abilities would have taken him? Now, he is headed for the slammer instead of the playing field.

Certainly, this is not a guy who was a delinquent or lived a life marred with turmoil or rebellion. Huguely was a very successful person and had a promising future. His neighbors in Bethesda, MD where he grew up described him as "a wonderful, charming, polite young man." No one should ever engage in violence no matter how difficult life may be. However, you would expect a juvenile delinquent who grew up with no parents to engage in violence not a star lacrosse player like George Huguely.

This case highlights the fact that our children are not immune to engaging in acts of violence if their personal problems are not addressed properly. The truth be told, it is very rare that a person in George Huguely's position would kill his former girlfriend in such a horrific fashion. But all it takes is one time for a person to snap and carry out the unthinkable.

Apparently, Huguely had a drinking and anger problem. He drunk the entire day before he killed his former girlfriend which is a recipe for disaster since he was distraught that he recently broke up with the girl that is now the victim in this case. When you are in not in the right frame of mind, a person is capable of doing anything if he feels desperate or is under the influence of narcotics or alcohol. It does not matter if you are a Professor at Harvard Law School or a street gang member. The potential for violence is the same

Parents and mental health professionals should be forewarned. Regardless of whether your child comes from a healthy family, all it takes is one bad decision or one difficult situation and the child that you thought would never hurt anyone faces years of incarceration.

The overriding lesson here is that if you suspect that your child has a problem or even yourself, get them help or seek professional help for yourself immediately no matter how embarrassing or uncomfortable it may be for you. The consequences of not doing so may be far worse as in George Huguely's case.

Police Taser Phillies Fan

Philadelphia Police, on patrol last night at Citizens Bank Stadium where Major League Baseball's Philadelphia Phillies play, found themselves chasing seventeen year old Steven Consalvi who decided to run on the field in front of forty thousand plus fans during the game. This kid obviously thought it would be a fun gig to rouse the crowd and gain some notoriety which he clearly is getting. But, now this kid will have an unnecessary criminal record for the thrill of running on the field for thirty quick seconds.

The game was halted for the thirty seconds as the police ran in circles after the seventeen year old trying to tackle him to the ground. Finally, the police were able to apprehend the individual after one of the police officers tasered the seventeen year old on his back causing him to fall to the ground.

This incident has resurfaced the debate in the U.S. whether police officers should taser people in order to take them into custody (Remember "Don't Taser me Bro" when the police tasered a fellow during a speaking engagement by Sen. John Kerry).

Many people believe that the police did not have to taser the seventeen year old but rather could have tackled him to the ground. Philadelphia police have already concluded that the officer who tasered the kid did not use excessive force.

My feeling is that as long as tasering is not deadly or does not cause serious bodily injury (some people say taser guns are deadly), the police should be able to use taser guns in accordance with proper police procedures. After all, it can be difficult to tackle a guy who is running in circles potentially delaying the game for an extended period of time.

The bottom line is that if you obey the law and do not do stupid things like seventeen year old Steven Consalvi, you do not have to worry about being tased in the first place.

Conferences where he can preach his anti-American anti-Zionist anti-Israel rhetoric and make a mockery out of his hosts who so irresponsibly allow him into the country.

The Bush Administration gave him unfettered access to New York and the Obama Administration has continued the tradition.

Ahmadenijad requested a visa from the U.S. to come to New York to attend a U.N. Conference next week oddly enough on non-proliferation where he can once again deceive the public into thinking that Iran does not have nuclear weapons just as the Nazis led the Red Cross to believe that the Jews were playing an innocent game of soccer at Auschwitz.

Instead of showing the world that the Obama Administration means business in procuring sanctions through the ultimate sanction by not allowing Ahmadenijad into the country, Obama has decided to grant Ahmadenijad's visa request.

Would it not have sent an earth shattering message to Ahmadenijad had he been denied the opportunity to attend a conference which he will only use as a platform to further his psychopathic propaganda? How can anyone believe that Obama is serious about procuring sanctions when he can not even take the bold step of denying a simple visa request from a leader who does not deserve any international legitimacy whatsoever?

Sanctions Begin at Home, Mr. President. You can not expect the Chinese or the Russians to go along with your plan of sanctions that "bite" if you do not have the backbone to block Ahmadenijad from setting foot on the very territory that he seeks to destroy.

The Obama snub of the State of Israel is not expected to cease any time soon. Once again, an elected Israeli official has been given the cold treatment. Last month it was Israeli Prime-Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Now, it is the Mayor of Jerusalem.

Mayor of Jerusalem Nir Barkat is in Washington meeting with members of Congress. He has been critical of the Obama Administration's demand that Israel halt all East Jerusalem construction in Jewish neighborhoods but not Arab neighborhoods.

Barkat stated "I think in Washington or anywhere in the states its illegal, it’s anti constitutional, to ask who’s the owner, if he’s Jewish or Muslim. You’re not allowed to discriminate, by race, by color, or by religion. And I’m surprised at the demand and the request to hint to us that we must discriminate…It’s against the law.”

Prime-Minister Netanyahu has reportedly caved into Obama's unrelenting pressure and has agreed to halt all East Jerusalem construction.

For too long, our politicians have grown to think that they can do whatever they want because we will still vote for them anyway. Barack Obama has invited the PA leader Mahmoud Abbas to the White House essentially rewarding Abbas's refusal to come to the negotiating table.The date and time of the upcoming meeting is to be determined.

I wonder if the President will close his meeting with Abbas to the press like he did with Netanyahu? Will there be no press conferences or photo ops? Will he leave him stranded in the White House while he goes to dinner with his family? Will Obama criticize Abbas for naming a square after an avowed terrorist with as much ferociousness as he did when criticizing Israel for building homes in East Jerusalem?

Don't hold your breath. Look for the double standard to continue. President Obama will likely treat Abbas, who is also the leader of the terrorist Fatah organization, with royalty.

Biden tells Israel not to strike Iran

Vice-President Joseph Biden made an appearance on ABC's "The View" this past week while he was in New York to commemorate Earth Day.

Aside from his admission that he had to propose to his wife Jill 5 times before she agreed to marry him, he was also asked by Barbara Walters to comment on the situation with Iran and in particular whether Israel will strike the Iranian regime without the permission of the U.S.

Biden responded emphatically "they're not going to do that" as if he is the ultimate decider of Israeli government decisions.

He went on to say "everyone from the Israeli prime minister straight through to the British prime minister to the president of Russia – everyone agrees the next step we should take is the UN sanction route.”

Biden tries to frame his answer to Barbara Walters' question in such a way that it looks like Israel will not strike Iran because it is opposed to a military strike and would rather opt for sanctions.

But, if you read through the tea leaves, here is what Biden is really saying to the Israelis.

"Listen up Netanyahu, you are not going to strike Iran because we will not allow you to strike Iran." As it stands, this is the official U.S. policy that an Israeli military strike on Iran is not acceptable.

By the way, on a side note, Biden's current view of an Israeli military strike has changed from over a year ago. In July of 2009, Biden stated that the "U.S. cannot dictate to another sovereign nation what they can and cannot do."

His response to Walters' question just the other day is a clever way of avoiding answering directly whether Israel will strike Iran without U.S. permission and what would be the ramifications of that decision.

In reality, the Israeli government will have no choice but to use military force against Iran with or without U.S. permission as the threat of Israel's annihilation looms larger each day. And, without the likelihood of concrete sanctions any time soon, military action becomes imperative to stop the Iranian regime from igniting a second Holocaust.

Sometimes you have to dissect a politician's answer to a question in order to obtain the real answer on a given issue.

In this case, it is clear that Israel is going to have a tough time getting the U.S. on board if Israel feels compelled to strike Iran.

Obama Disagrees with Schumer

Senator Chuck Schmuer (D-NY) is the first Democrat Senator to openly and publicly take issue with President Obama's policies on Israel. Politico.com reported on Schumer's spat with the administration last week.

Senator Schumer in a radio interview on the Nachum Segal show in New York told Segal that Obama's isolation of the State of Israel, after the Netanyahu government announced the building of homes in East Jerusalem during Biden's visit to the region, "has to stop" calling it "counterproductive and a "kerfuffle."

"Israel apologized and when Biden left, and Biden is the best friend of Israel in the administration [and] everything was fine. But then what happened is the next day Hillary Clinton called up Netanyahu and talked very tough to him, and worse they made it public through this spokesperson, a guy named Crowley. And Crowley said something I have never heard before, which is, the relationship of Israel and the United States depends on the pace of the negotiations."

As a result of the State Department's harsh critique of the State of Israel, Schumer said "I called up Rahm Emanuel and I called up the White House and I said, 'If you don’t retract that statement you are going to hear me publicly blast you on this.'"

While the State Department has since backed down from its condemnatory remarks of Israel, Schumer claims that there is a battle currently going on within the administration. One side supports Israel and the other side is content with pursuing the administration's current policies of isolating Israel.

Schumer warns that if the administration does not change its policies on Israel, he will "take it to the next step."

The White House has since weighed in on Schumer's comments. Obama's Spokesman Robert Gibbs stated "I don’t think it is a stretch to say we don’t agree with what Senator Schumer said.”

I am not exactly sure who Obama is fooling. But it is known in Washington and certainly within a significant proportion of Jewish community that President Obama is not a friend of the State of Israel's.

Former Obama Supporters Sign Pro-Israel Petition

In response to President Obama's recent treatment of Israeli Prime-Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when he visited the White House last March, the conservative pro-Israel blog Kauffmans Commentary sponsored a Petition criticizing Obama for his unstatesmanlike conduct. The Petition is titled "Mr. President, We Stand with Israel" and "Israel Deserves Respect."

The Petition reads as follows:

"We , the undersigned, are signing this Petition to voice our outrage and dismay that you have more respect for enemies of the United States than allies like the State of Israel as you have shown repeatedly throughout your presidency. On March 23rd, 2010, you met with Israeli Prime-Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House. Unfortunately, you treated Mr. Netanyahu in a disrespectful manner. It is customary for the President of the United States to hold a joint press conference with the visiting head of state, to permit the media to take photographs, and to offer a statement of what was discussed in the meeting. In an act which can only be explained as a snub, you prevented the media from taking any photographs, required that your meeting with Mr. Netanyahu be closed to the press, offered no statement about what was discussed in the meeting, and left the Prime-minister and his entourage in the White House while you went to dinner with your family. This is certainly not a way to treat one of America's best friends in the world. Instead of weakening Israel for building homes in a Jewish neighborhood, we call on you and your administration to utilize more energy in confronting Iran to prevent a nuclear Holocaust."

As of today's date, over 500 people have signed the Petition expressing their discontent with the manner in which the President mistreated Netanyahu.

The makeup of the signatories indicates that there exists diversified support for the State of Israel in the United States. Evangelical Christians, Orthodox Jews, secular Jews, Democrats, Republicans, Hispanic Americans, men, and women are all represented in this Petition.

Several individuals who supported President Obama in the 2008 campaign also signed the Petition which suggests that President Obama may be alienating a segment of his support base as a result of the recent tension in the U.S.-Israel relationship that many believe Obama manufactured unnecessarily.

Here are the words of a few of the former Obama supporters who now oppose his policies on the Middle East.

Robert Redmon- " I voted for you previously, however I'm now ashamed that I'd voted for you."
Jill Daly: "As a supporter of you during your campaign, I am deeply saddened in your attitude toward Israel."

Kauffmans Commentary sent the Petition to the White House on Tuesday April 20th, to coincide with Yom Haatzmaut, Israel's Independence Day.

76 Senators signed a letter to President Obama urging him to ease recent tensions with the State of Israel.

The letter stated: "We write to urge you to do everything possible to ensure that recent tensions between the U.S. and Israeli administrations over the untimely announcement of future housing construction in East Jerusalem do not derail Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations or harm U.S.-Israel relations. We also urge you to reaffirm the unbreakable bonds that tie the United States and Israel together and to diligently work to defuse current tensions. The Israeli governments and U.S. governments will undoubtedly, at times, disagree over policy decisions. But disagreements should not adversely affect our national interests."

The Future of Jewish Democrats

Non-Jewish Republicans and even Jewish Republicans constantly ponder the question, why do Jews flock to the Democrat party? What is it that they like about the Democrat party? (Ed. note: Orthodox Jews traditionally are Republican) After all, the Democrat party has moved so far to the left and is the home to Michael Moore, Jimmy Carter, Al Sharpton, Dennis Kucinich, and other radical environmentalists who espouse anti-Israel views.

If Israel is such a major issue for the Jewish community as it rightfully should be, why would Jews back the Democrats? The truth is that there was a time when Democrats were Pro-Israel (LBJ, Harry Truman, JFK, RFK, Scoop Jackson) And there was a time when Republicans were not so friendly to the Jews (Pat Buchanan, Bush I, James Baker etc.)

The main answer to these legitimate questions is that social issues predominantly drives the Jewish connection to the Democrat party as most secular Jews are pro-choice, against the dominance of religion in society, for gun control, and therefore can not be single issue "Israel voters" even though Israel is an issue that concerns them.
( Please note that there is no attempt here to disparage secular Jews; this is merely an attempt to explain their reasoning for backing the Democrats despite all indications for them not to do so. Certainly, everyone is entitled to their own opinion no matter how misguided it may be)

However, slowly but surely, many Jewish Democrats are finally realizing that the Democrat Party is no longer their home. We started seeing a Jewish trend towards the Republicans with the Reagan administration's close ties to the Jewish state. As President George W. Bush became known as one of the most Pro-Israel Presidents in U.S. history, more Jewish Democrats voted for Bush II in 2004 although Kerry still got the bulk of the Jewish vote.

Surprisingly, 80% of Jews voted for Obama in 2008 despite his 20 year association with a radical anti-semitic preacher named Jeremiah Wright.

However, for the first time, the iceberg may have fallen over causing tons of Jewish Democrats to start packing towards red country.

It would have to take a radical guy like Barack Obama to shift the Jewish voting patterns. Jewish voters are finally realizing that Obama is so entrenched with the Muslim world that he is willing to sell out Israel and the lives of more than six million Jews living in Israel in order to appease the Iranians.

Just a few observations which leads me to believe that we will be seeing significantly more Jewish voters electing Republicans in 2010 and 2012.

The Former Mayor of New York, Ed Koch, a well known Jewish Democrat who usually has a good pulse on the views of the American Jewish community recently came out against Obama. Koch endorsed Bush II in 2004 and then went back to the Democrats in 2008 endorsing Obama. He now says that he is "getting off the Obama train because of Obama's mistreatment of the State of Israel. You rarely hear such a prominent Democrat in New York politics so vocally express his disgust for a Democrat President.

It takes the radical views of Barack Obama to spur Koch to do just that and I would imagine he's bringing a lot of Jewish Democrats with him off the train.

Another observation which many people do not yet know about and is a breaking development.

Kauffmans Commentary recently sponsored an "Israel Deserves Respect" Petition to President Obama. Kcom recieved quite a few responses from former Obama supporters who are outraged at the manner in which Obama disrespected Prime-minister Netanyahu when he visited the White House last March. Some of these former Obama suppporters were Jewish Americans who are now regretting their vote.

This is only the beginning of the Republican tent opening a little larger to welcome disenfranchised Jewish voters running away from Barack Obama and the Democrats. Stay tuned for more articles on this topic.

Obama's Failed Rhetoric

Today we honored the memories of the six million Jews including 1.5 million children who perished in the Holocaust and the many others who survived but were irreparably damaged.

Ever year as we commemorate the Holocaust at this time, there is a memorial ceremony at Israel's Holocaust Museum known as Yad Vashem. In addition, leaders all over the world annually issue proclamations condemning the Holocaust and also make statements remembering the victims.

In recent years, these statements have become all the more significant because the world is facing another Holocaust. This time the potential is for a nuclear Holocaust.

Of course, I am talking about Iran.

Unfortunately, despite the now famous expression "Never Again," the Holocaust could very well happen again precisely because our leaders are making statements that they do not intend to keep or enforce. Apparently, the term "Never Again," which was repeatedly drummed into our lexicon to assuage international guilt for universal inaction to prevent the Holocaust, has lost its impact.

In the years before the Holocaust, the warning signs of the pending Holocaust were written on the wall but for whatever reason no one decided to take them seriously enough to prevent the Holocaust from happening.

Now, we are faced with those same warning signs in a modern day era and once again no is taking Iran's threat to obtain a nuclear weapon serious enough to take action to prevent it from carrying out its nefarious plot.

We hear from our leaders how much they are opposed to Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon. But, where is the action?

History may be doomed to repeat itself.

In an ironic twist, President Obama commemorated the Holocaust by stating that the memories of the victims "serve as a constant reminder to honor their legacy by renewing our commitment to prevent genocide, and to confront anti-Semitism and prejudice in all of its forms"

President Obama, you have an opportunity to prevent genocide right now by confronting Iran. Yet, your administration remains opposed to Israel launching a military strike against Iran. In other words, you would rather have Israel tie their hands behind their backs and wait for a nuclear bomb to hit the streets of Tel Aviv or Jerusalem in the event that sanctions are not effective which they will not be in all likelihood.

How are you renewing your commitment to preventing genocide when you are opposed to Israel exercising its right to defend itself against the very genocide that you seem to be opposed to in your statement on Holocaust Remembrance Day.

This is just another example of Obama's failed rhetoric.

In an attempt to be politically correct and appease his liberal base, Obama has now rejected the term "Radical Islam" as being the cause of worldwide terrorism.

A national security document created during the Bush Administration read "The struggle against militant Islamic radicalism is the great ideological conflict of the early years of the 21st century." Now, Obama is changing the national security document which is the premier document that determines U.S. national security strategy.

Who knows what will Obama put in place of radical Islam?

I know. Global warming. Or rather, the lack of nationalized health care. How about a bunch of Eskimos in Northern Alaska? Did you see the igloos that brought down the Towers on 9/11?

Unfortunately, Obama continues his famous doublespeak. On the one hand, he talks up a big deal that nuke terrorism is the number one threat facing the nation and how he remains committed to the security of the U.S.

But, when it comes to actually take a stand against terrorism in action rather than rhetoric, Obama fails miserably and hides behind his politically correct appeasing advisers in the White House.

If Obama can not even properly identify the very enemy that threatens the U.S. which is radical Islam, what makes anyone seriously think that Obama will have the courage to confront Iran or launch a military strike if the U.S. is attacked again Gdforbid.

How can anyone seriously believe that Obama is protecting the U.S. from daily threats against the country when he strikes a deal with the Russians to reduce the United States' nuclear arms supply in a time when Iran or North Korea or a terrorist group could launch a bio terror attack on the U.S.? (Obama heads to Prague to sign the U.S.-Russian Treaty which will reduce nuclear warheads to 1,550 over 7 years)

If someone out there has confidence in Obama's national security credentials, please tell me where you derive such a level of confidence in a President who is working actively to appease the enemy rather than weaken them.

The U.S.-Israel Crisis Continues

Instead of attempting to rehabilitate the strained U.S.-Israel relationship, President Obama accelerated the crisis between Israel and the U.S. by treating the visiting Prime-minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a pariah leader worthy of scorn and banishment from the community of nations. Despite the fact that the mainstream media refuses to criticize President Obama for treating Netanyahu in such a disgraceful manner, the seriousness of Obama's actions is no light manner.

Many people do not realize how much Obama has destroyed the prospect for world peace by his decision to shun Netanyahu.

While meeting with Netanyahu, Obama reportedly threatened Israel with a Presidential notice of U.S. condemnation and a threat to frame Israel as the party that is responsible for the failure of the proximity talks if Netanyahu did not cede to demands to stop all East Jerusalem construction.

The Arab nations are in their glory because they can simultaneously watch Obama take Israel down to the ground for building homes for its citizens without any repercussions for their own lack of desire to make peace.

So far, Netanyahu has stood firm in the wake of unreasonable American pressure.

In reality, Obama is the party who is responsible for the delay of the proximity talks. More significantly, he is responsible for enhancing the likelihood of further confrontation with terrorist supporting regimes which is contrary to comprehensive peace.

By Obama spending so much energy with his intransigent recalcitrant attitude towards Israel in refusing to compromise not even one inch on Israel's building policies, the President sends a devastating message to the Arab world and the international community.

The message is the following:

1) The incitement of Palestinians to kill Jews is acceptable and not worth shunning Mahmoud Abbas over when he comes to Washington. ( Obama has no problem welcoming Mahmoud Abbas warmly to the White House)

2) The denial of Israel's right to exist in the PLO charter is not a central issue in the peace process worth fighting over.

3) The Palestinian Authority- Hamas alliance which seeks Israel's destruction is not at all of concern.

4) The naming of a square in the Palestinian territories by the Palestinian Authority after a terrorist who murdered 37 Israelis is understandable and insignificant for a chill in U.S.-Palestinian relations.

5) Compromising with Iran, North Korea, Syria, Venezuela, and every other despotic regime is a necessary diplomatic approach while isolating Israel is also a necessary diplomatic strategy.

This message is reverberating across the Middle East and only encourages the terrorist proxies in the Palestinian territories and beyond to continue denying Israel's right to exist, to continue promoting the murder of Jews, to continue their glorification of terrorists because there will be no shunning of the Palestinian Authority from the Obama Administration but only approval and support.

If President Obama thinks the policy of delegitimizing Israel will work to facilitate peace in the region, he is badly mistaken.

And, for his sake, he should lay low because his continual "hazing" of the Israeli Prime-minister as some people are calling it, will ultimately backfire on him in the 2010 and 2012 elections. There is some data to demonstrate that his support in the Jewish community may in fact be eroding.

If I were a member of Congress, I would call on the President to stop his "Isolate Israel" policy or risk further instability in the Middle East.

If I were a Democrat in Congress, I would call on the President to stop his "Isolate Israel" policy or risk losing seats in the House and Senate in 2010 and perhaps the Presidency in 2012.

Obama Disrespects Netanyahu Again

Whenever an American President visits Israel, Israel rolls out the red carpet for the President and his staff at the airport. The Israeli government holds a dinner for the President and his wife and the Israeli PM usually holds a joint press conference with the President in front of photographers snapping pictures and TV cameras broadcasting the exchange. This is exactly the way an ally should treat another ally when its head of state is visiting.

Typically, the U.S. affords the visiting Israeli PM the same welcoming mat. Unfortunately, the Obama Administration is known for snubbing Prime Minister Netanyahu when he visits Washington.

The last time Netanyahu came to Washington in November, Obama did not allow the media to take any pictures of the meeting. No press conferences were permitted and Netanyahu could not even be transported to the meeting in a governmental vehicle according to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz.

Once again, Netanyahu has faced the same treatment.

Here is the headline picture from the Associated Press and Fox News on the March 23rd, 2010 Obama/Netanyahu meeting.

The media was not permitted to capture Netanyahu meeting Obama when he visited the White House tonight. Not even one single photo was permitted. There was no press conference and nothing has been said about what was discussed in the meeting.

Netanyahu may very well be the only head of state who has received this treatment from the Obama Administration as Obama has been much more hospitable to other visiting leaders. Even Mahmoud Abbas, the leader of the Fatah organization responsible for numerous Israeli casualties, got himself a photo with the President when he visited the White House last May.

You may remember how India's PM was honored at a lavish state affair last Fall. Recently, the Irish PM was treated to a warm welcome when he visited the White House on St. Patrick's day.

Obama's disdain for the Jewish State continues to shine through despite his attempt to hide his true feelings.

Just seven minutes after President Obama signed health care reform into law, thirteen attorney generals filed suit in Ferderal Court in Pensacola, Florida claiming Obama's health care Bill is unconstitutional.

The lawsuit states: "The Constitution nowhere authorizes the United States to mandate, either directly or under threat of penalty, that all citizens and legal residents have qualifying health care coverage."

Joining Florida in the suit were South Carolina, Nebraska, Texas, Michigan, Utah, Pennsylvania, Alabama, South Dakota, Idaho, Washington, Colorado and Louisiana.

In the days before tonight's vote, Obama twisted arms, threatened Democrat holdouts that they would loose their chairmanships or even face the prospect of losing support from the Democrat party in the 2010 midterm elections.

Unfortunately, politicians are susceptible to threats of not prevailing in a reelection campaign from their own party prompting many to change their votes from No to Yes under threat of repercussions from the Obama White House.

The last holdouts, Bart Stupak and his delegation of pro-Life Democrats who were so adamant about voting against the Bill because it funded abortions, ultimately decided to vote Yes for the Bill after Obama promised to sign an executive order that federal dollars would not be used to fund abortions. Stupak voting yes is what put the Democrats over the edge.

So much for principled leadership.

While Obama scored a major victory with the passing of the health care legislation in the House, he may very well have put a nail in the coffin of his party's chances of maintaining majority in the House and the Senate. Certainly, the Democrat party will be facing losses in the 2010 election.

But for Obama, he doesn't care as long as his agenda gets through even if it is to the detriment of the American people.

The real question that is looming is what legal challenges will emerge to Obama's health care bill. Many attorney generals, specifically Florida's attorney general Bill McCollum, are already bracing the filing of a lawsuit contesting Obama's health care Bill on constitutional grounds.

The American people could still get the last laugh.

A  Letter to the Secretary of State of the United States of America

             Dear Secretary of State Clinton:

             We are writing to express our outrage and displeasure at the manner in which the Obama Administration has disrespected our friend and ally the State of Israel.

              There has not been a crisis between Israel and the United States of this magnitude in over thirty years. Unfortunately, it is not surprising that a crisis has occurred as the President has demonstrated repeatedly that he does not have a positive view of the Israeli government or the Israeli people. A crisis of this magnitude was an accident waiting to happen given the rising tensions between the two nations since President Obama took office.

            However, you Secretary of State Clinton, are largely responsible for exacerbating a simple disagreement between friends into a full fledged public crisis that inflamed the Arab world unnecessarily.

            After Prime-minister Netanyahu apologized to Vice-President Biden for "embarrassing" him by announcing a decision to build 1600 apartments in Ramat Shlomo, a Jewish neighborhood in East Jerusalem where Arabs have never lived, you decided to take a matter that seemed to be already resolved and gave it more life support. Mrs. Clinton, there was absolutely no reason for you to state in an interview on NBC that Israel "insulted the United States" which was completely unwarranted and sent shock waves across the world.

            Unfortunately, your statement on NBC was not the only statement from the administration. David Axelrod called Israel's decision an "affront" and "destructive" and Robert Gibbs suggested that Israel needed to make more concessions before the crisis could be resolved.

           Several Republicans and Democrats criticized the Administrations caustic rebuke of the Israeli government. Democratic Congressman Anthony Weiner of New York, stated that "Israel is a sovereign nation and an ally not a punching bag." Indeed, he is right. Friends do not "embarrass" friends by publicly attacking them in a public arena in such a ferocious manner when there is a disagreement which is exactly what your administration did to Israel. Other political leaders, like Joe Lieberman and John McCain, have expressed concern that focusing on criticizing Israel will detract from confronting Iran. They too are right.

            However, the Obama Administration does not seem to be getting the message. Incredulously, you recently stated that "Israel must show that it is committed to peace" and that the "onus is on Israel to restart the peace process." How can you say in good faith that Israel must show that it is committed to peace?

             Ever since the peace process started in the early 90's with the Oslo accords, Israel has bent over backwards to accommodate the Palestinians even when they do not deserve to be accommodated. Did you forget how Israel gave the Palestinians an unprecedented offer in 2000 during your husband's administration only to have it rejected by Yasser Arafat? Since then, Israel has released scores of Palestinian prisoners who belong in prison; many whom return to killing Israelis after being released. Israel has ceded to the Palestinians significant portions of the West Bank and Israel kicked its own citizens in 2005 out of their homes in order to leave Gaza. Do you remember how horrifying it was to watch Israelis remove other Israelis from their homes often by force with the hopes that peace would finally be realized in the region?

           It is absolutely unheard of for a nation to physically remove its citizens from their homes as part of a peace initiative. You would think the Palestinians would respond favorably to such an initiative. Well, that's not what occurred.

           The Palestinians to this day still indoctrinate their children to hate and murder Jews. The PLO Charter to this day does not recognize Israel's right to exist. The Palestinian Authority continues to glorify terrorists. The Palestinian Authority continues to cooperate with Hamas and is still involved in promoting terrorist attacks against Israel. Have you forgotten about the scores of homicide bombings that killed and maimed innocent Israelis at the hands of the Fatah organization which is led now by Mahmoud Abbas whom you claim to be a "peace maker?"

           We would like to know, Secretary Clinton, when the Palestinians have ever showed a commitment to peace in the entire history of the peace process? When have the Palestinians ever made concessions to the Israelis? When has this administration ever criticized the Palestinians for "insulting the United States" for promoting the murder of Jews? We find the indoctrination of children to not be "helpful" either. And, yet Israel who has confronted years of Palestinian violence and years of blood libels in the Palestinian media, is now labeled by your administration as a peace breaker rather than the party who is eagerly awaiting for a peace partner that is nonexistent in the Palestinian territories.

    We are also appalled that your administration would criticize Israel for building homes in their capital city of Jerusalem by calling it an "affront" but have no such criticism for the Palestinian Authority, who around the same time that Vice-President Biden visited the region, chose to name a square after a terrorist who killed 37 Israelis and an American photographer in 1978. Apparently, building homes for innocent people is an affront but glorifying a terrorist is an acceptable action.   Since when should the Palestinians have the right to determine what is an affront and what is not an affront?

         It is quite clear that your administration is opposed to Jerusalem being the undivided capital of the State of Israel. Otherwise, your criticism of Israel for making a miscalculated mistake would have been temporary and private in nature. Well, we have some advice for you. Pressuring Israel to relinquish its claim to Jerusalem is not "helpful" and is a waste of your bureaucratic time as Jerusalem is not negotiable and will always remain the undivided capital of the State of Israel until the end of time.

         Notwithstanding the unhelpfulness of attacking Israel for building homes in its capital city, what ever happened to President Obama's belief that the U.S. should not meddle in other country's affairs? Does that proposition not apply to Israel? Israel has never told the United States how and when they can build homes in Washington DC. Just like you do not dictate to Britain or France what should be included in their housing codes, Israel should be afforded the same diplomatic courtesy.

         Unfortunately, this crisis created largely by your administration has not been innocuous but rather it has had its deleterious effects. Riots erupted in Jerusalem in response to your administration's excessive rebuke of the Israeli government and some elements within the Palestinian Authority have even called for a third Intifada.

          Similarly as the Netanyahu Government probed the announcement of the building of homes in Jerusalem during Vice-President Biden's visit, we call on the Obama Administration to probe how it could isolate a pivotal ally of the United States and cause an unnecessary diplomatic crisis that has prevented the international community from focusing on the nuclear threat posed by Iran.

We hope that Israel will never be smeared again by this administration as it was in the last few weeks.

The criticism of Israel is unrelenting and keeps on coming from every angle in the Obama White House.

After Hilary Clinton's stinging rebuke of the Jewish State which followed Joe Biden's strong criticism, David Axelrod got on the bash-Israel bandwagon today calling Israel's actions an "affront" and an insult" and "very destructive." He further stated that Israel's actions "undermined this very fragile effort to bring peace to that region."

White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs characterized Netanyahu's expression of regret as being "a good start" but expressed that that President Obama expected Netanyahu to make more concessions to the U.S. in order to placate the Obama Administration. (When has Abbas ever apologized for actively supporting the mass murder of Jews? Maybe a good start for Abbas would be to apologize for attempting to name a squarre after an avowed terrorist roughly at the same time Biden visited the region.)

Now, Egypt is riding the waves of America's unusual strong criticism of the Jewish state by stating that Israel is not interested in peace and calling on the international community to stop Israel's "provocative actions."

Regrettably, Obama is giving ammunition to the Arab world which largely supports the annihilation of the State of Israel. By the Obama Administration lambasting Israel and characterizing Israel as the aggressor (apparently building homes in a Jewish neighborhood is an aggressive action) and siding with the Palestinians as the party interested in peace when in fact the PA has shown consistently through its support of terrorism that it is not interested in peace threatens to cause a whole new level of violence in the region, legitimizes the Arab war against Israel, and sets us back considerably from identifying the real enemy in the conflict which are the terrorists who vow Israel's and the United States destruction.

For Obama's sake, he should be careful about how far he goes in isolating Israel. It could have disastrous consequences for him in 2010 and 2012.

Clinton Turns on Israel

Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton sat down for an interview with MSNBC's Andrea Mitchell at the U.N. Mitchell, who is not known for being Pro-Israel, asks Clinton what she thinks about Israel's announcement during Biden's visit to the region that it intends to build homes in Ramat Shlomo, a Jewish neighborhood in East Jerusalem where Arabs have never lived.

Mitchell has a disgusted look on her face when she tells Clinton in the form of a statement rather than a question that "It was a slap on the face to the visiting Vice-President." Mitchell then goes on to say that Israel's announcement was an "insult" and a "setback" to the Peace Process.

In the exchange below, Clinton agrees with Mitchell as her facial expression grips with discontent for the Jewish State. Clinton called Israel's announcement, apparently at the behest of President Obama himself, an "insult to the United States."

I would like to know if Hillary Rodham Clinton finds it to be an insult to the U.S. that the Palestinian Authority continues to this very day to indoctrinate its children with vicious blood libels about Jews and Israel. Does HRC have a problem with Abbas leading a Fatah organization that continues to this day to support terrorist attacks against Israeli citizens? Are not the murder of Jews an insult to the U.S.? Apparently not, since we have not heard HRC or President Obama or Joe Biden make any critical remarks about Palestinian support of terrorism.

Moreover, it is unconscionable that the Obama Administration including previous administrations believe that the building of Jewish homes threatens the viability of the peace process. Israel has every right to build homes in its sovereign territory and it should have no bearing on any issue in the peace process merely because the Palestinians lay claim to it. If Israel acted in accordance with Palestinian claims, Israel would cease to exist tomorrow.

Clinton's comments, which have been roundly criticized by the ADL, is the latest string of strained relations between the U.S. and Israel that has not been this strained since the Carter Administration.

Unfortunately, criticizing one of the foremost allies of the U.S. while making no criticism of the Palestinians sends a message to the Arab world and the international community that terrorism works and it will ultimately pay off.

A new Newsmax/Zogby Poll fresh off the hot press has a startling discovery which is more bad news for the Obama Administration. The Newsmax/Zogby Poll found that a sizable amount of the American people do not believe that President Obama is doing a good job in keeping the American people safe.

The poll asked participants: "Do you believe Barack Obama’s policies have made America more or less safe against terrorism?"

Here is the breakdown of the results:

Somewhat more safe, 20 percent
Somewhat less safe, 11 percent

No Criticism of the Palestinians

A day after Israel announced the building of homes in Ramat Shlomo which is a neighborhood in East Jerusalem in the midst of a visit to the region by Joseph Biden, the chorus of criticism are growing louder by the minute. Morocco has weighed in, England has weighed in, France has weighed in, Germany has weighed in, so has the EU, and of course America has weighed in all criticizing the East Jerusalem Construction Project.

The fact is that Israel has an absolute right to build homes within its legal borders the same way that New Yorkers have a right to build homes in Manhattan or Britons have a right to build homes in London. And, as far as timing is concerned, it would not have mattered whether Israel announced its decision to build homes in East Jerusalem five weeks after Biden's visit, the U.S. would be condemning the decision with as much of an equal furor as they are now in claiming that Israel embarrassed Biden by making this decision to coincide with his visit to the region which the Israelis emphatically deny.

Noticeably absent from Biden's visit was any criticism of the Palestinians. After Biden's botched performance in Israel (See "Biden's Poor Performance in Israel"), Biden went over to Ramallah and hardly made any critical remarks of the Palestinians if he did at all. Instead, he chose to criticize Israel once again for the East Jerusalem Construction Project.

In a joint news conference with Abbas, Biden said: "Yesterday the decision by the Israeli government to advance planning for new housing units in east Jerusalem undermines that very trust, the trust that we need right now in order to begin ... profitable negotiations." According to Biden, Israel's decision to build in East Jerusalem was "undermining the Palestinians faith in new negotiations." In turn, Abbas urged Israel to commit to peace and claimed that the Palestinians are committed to peace as a strategic choice.

Biden went on to say that the Palestinians deserve a "viable independent" Palestinian state with contiguous territory whatever that means.

Now, in that press conference, Biden never once criticized the Palestinians for naming a square after a Palestinian terrorist who killed dozens of Israelis. Biden never criticized the PA for using its media and school system to indoctrinate Palestinian children with vicious anti-semitic blood libels. Biden never raised the issue of a reconciliation with Hamas and the PA. He never discussed the growing influence of Hezbollah in the region or the Iranian threat.

Unfortunately, Biden allowed Abbas to portray Israel as the peace breaker when over the years Israel has gone out on a limb to make peace with the Palestinians only to be rebuffed by two Intifadas, scores of homocide bombings and terrorist attacks, a PLO charter which still rejects Israel's right to exist, a Palestinian media that promotes violence against Israelis, and a Yasser Arafat and now a Mahmoud Abbas who claims to want peace in English but in Arabic who wants the destruction of the State of Israel.

The fact is that there is no feasible way to have a Palestinian state and a Jewish state living side by side with each other in peace. The Palestinians will not accept anything less than Jerusalem as the capital of the Palestinian state, which would also include the Dead Sea and parts of the Negev plus the entry millions of "refugees" to flood the Palestinian state. This proposal is nothing short of the end of Israel as the Jewish state which is exactly what the Palestinians want.

For Biden to assert that the Palestinians deserve a viable Palestinian state with contiguous territory that will in all likelihood undermine the character of the State of Israel as a Jewish State is unacceptable. And for Biden to be complicit in allowing the Palestinians to portray Israel in a negative light while allowing a terrorist-supporting Palestinian entity to be portrayed as being peaceful and positive is also unacceptable.

Remember when Biden said during the 2008 campaign that the Jewish community has nothing to worry about because he was on the ticket with Obama.

Well, that assurance seems to have gone out the window.

Biden's Poor Performance in Israel

Vice-President Joseph Biden arrived in Israel on March 8th for talks with Israeli Prime-minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He will be in the region for a total of three days culminating with a visit to Ramallah to meet with Mahmoud Abbas of the Palestinian Authority.

Prior to Biden's arrival, George Mitchell, U.S. Envoy to the Middle East Peace Process, announced that Israel and the Palestinian Authority will launch indirect peace talks in a longstanding saga of calls for peace negotiations which usually end in a bridge to nowhere as a result of Palestinian intransigence.

President Obama sent Joe Biden to Israel in an effort to mollify Jewish and Israeli concerns that the Obama Administration has not been supportive of the State of Israel.

However, there was another purpose for Biden's visit. On the agenda of issues that Biden intended to discuss with Netanyahu was of course the conflict with Iran. The U.S. does not want Israel to launch a preemptive strike on Iran and instead is focused on procuring sanctions against the Iranian regime. On the other hand, Israel remains worried and for good reason that the U.S. is not committed to ending the Iranian nuclear threat which threatens both Israel and U.S.'s national security. Senator John Kerry, Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, came to Israel a week earlier than Biden and reportedly delivered the same message to the Israelis that Biden intends to deliver that sanctions are the way to go to stop Iran not a military strike.

However, Iran does not seemed at all deterred by the threat of sanctions if sanctions can be procured at all given Russia and China's opposition. And as Iran predicts that there will be a war in the region this summer, rhetoric without action only brings us closer to a showdown with Iran that could potentially cause a nuclear Holocaust. Unfortunately, the phrase "Never again" which was first coined after six million Jews perished in the Eurpean Holocaust, apparently has lost its significance.

Many, including former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. John Bolton, believe that sanctions will not be effective and only military action will stop the Iranians. Bolton stated in an interview that "Israel has just two choices: a strike aimed at Iran's nuclear facilities, or a nuclear Iran."

Personally, I do not know what the Obama Administration wants Israel to do. Wait indefinitely for sanctions which may never occur and refrain from a military strike while watching helplessly like "good boys" as Iran develops an atomic bomb that could be leveled on the streets of Jerusalem.

Notwithstanding the dissent among policy leaders regarding the plan to respond to the Iranian nuclear threat, Biden's performance in Israel has done nothing to reassure the Israelis or the rest of the world that the U.S. means business vis a vis Iran. Biden asserted while in Israel without much passion that the U.S. is "determined to prevent a nuclear Iran." We have heard this line of rhetoric before from the Obama Administration and it has had little effect in stopping the Iranians or convincing the Russians or the Chinese to join the international community in procuring sanctions. The time for rhetoric has long been over. It is now time for the Obama Administration to get off the media circuit and get to the drawing boards by articulating specifically what steps Obama intends to take to stop the Iranians rather than glorified speeches that have very little value.

Further, if President Obama expected that Biden would reassure Israel and the Jewish world that the Obama Administration is squarely on their side, he was wrong. Biden, who stated while visiting Yad Vashem (Israel's Holocaust Memorial) that "Israel is a central bolt in our existence" also took an opportunity to criticize Israel which is almost like a double edged sword negating the original praise.

Biden rather strongly criticized Israel's building policies in East Jerusalem stating "I condemn the decision by the government of Israel to advance planning for new housing units in East Jerusalem.The substance and timing of Israel’s announcement is precisely the kind of step that undermines the trust we need right now and runs counter to the constructive discussions that I’ve had here in Israel.”

Here, Biden believes that Israel is a "central bolt in our existence." Yet, he and the Obama Administration do not believe that Israel has a right, like communities in the U.S., to build apartment complexes in neighborhoods within its capital city.

And now, Biden travels to Ramallah where just a few days earlier the Palestinian Authority named a Square after a Palestinian terrorist who killed dozens of Israelis according to the Palestinian Media Watch which was published on Imra.org.il's website. It will be interesting to see whether Biden, who criticized Israel for building flats that will house innocent civilians, will criticize the PA for naming a square after an avowed terrorist or will Biden lavish praises on the Palestinians for nonexistent strides that they have taken to pursue peace.

As long as the U.S. Government sends a message that it will look the other way when the Palestinians promote a culture of violence and that it will carelessly allow the Iranians to continue their nuclear program without immediate consequences, terrorism will continue to exist in the world particularly in the Middle East.

No talks or sanctions will exterminate terrorism unless the international community starts to recognize once and for all that the terrorists thrive on pacifism, hesitance, and other kinds of passive responses.

Maybe the world already knows this and that's why they are acting to defeat terrorism with kid gloves because in reality they do not want to defeat terrorism the way it needs to be defeated. Food for thought.

Right beneath the eyes of the European Union, Hamas has become a major force in England over the last ten years according to the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center. Hamas is said to be behind the threats by British officials to arrest Israeli political leaders if they deplane in Britain.

Britain issued an arrest warrant for Opposition Kadima Leader Tzipi Livni's arrest last December and General Almog of the IDF was told that he may be arrested if he disembarked from his plane in England in 2005.

England has allowed Hamas to take over the British political, legal system to spread their radical anti-Israel ideology despite the fact that the E.U. has put them on a terrorism list which clearly has had no effect in stopping Hamas from manipulating the British to issue arrest warrants for Israeli leaders.

The report by the Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center explains that Hamas has been largely successful in promoting their vitriolic rhetoric because they have been able to take advantage of Britain's open democracy, including using the Arab media in the UK, to spew its propaganda across the British spectrum.

Unfortunately, British democracy has given Hamas free reign without questioning whether a democracy should be so expanisve that it can allow a terrorist organization to promote hate and violence . The courts in Britain have even opened up their courtrooms to suits by Hamas against the Israeli leaders showing great tolerance for the terrorist organization.

This same openness for Hamas and other terrorist organizations exists all over Europe and even in the U.S.

While free speech is definitely an integral and welcomed aspect of democracy and should be permitted under most circumstances, it can also lead to the downfall of a nation if the right to free speech is not curtailed to protect the security and well being of its citizens.

Clearly, permitting Hamas to hijack British democracy to indoctrinate the free world with its hate and violence exceeds the boundaries of accepted free speech and will undoubtedly lead to the downfall of England and the rest of the westernized world unless Hamas's nefarious plans are thwarted.

TSA Theater of the Absurd

Did you hear about the latest innocent American traveler thought to be a "terrorist" by airport security?

In a previous post, I told you the story of how TSA took a child's play dough from him in New Orleans. Well, they're at it again. This time TSA targeted a developmentally disabled child believed to be a terrorist in Philadelphia.

A four year old developmentally disabled boy who walks with leg braces and who only learned how to walk recently, was traveling with his father and mother from Philadelphia to Orlando, Florida. When they were going through the security machines, TSA told the parents that the child had to remove his braces. The father informed TSA that his son could not walk without the leg braces. That did not allay TSA concerns as they continued to demand that the boy take the leg braces off. The boy's mother offered to walk him through the detectors once they took the leg braces off. Well, that was not good enough either. They said the boy had to walk through the detectors himself without any assistance.

Thankfully, the boy was able to walk without getting hurt or falling. He certainly could have fallen and injured himself only because the TSA required that the disabled boy take off his leg braces.

TSA eventually apologized for the way that this boy and his family were treated.

But, guess what TSA said they should have done instead. Ann Davis, Spokeswoman for the TSA, said you guessed it that the boy should have been taken to a private room and swabbed for traces of explosive materials.

Apparently, as ridiculous as it seems, young American children, particularly four year old disabled children with leg braces, are thought by TSA to be terrorists connected to Al Qaeda who have to undergo strict scrutiny to see if they are carrying any explosive devices.

In all of my years of schooling, I would never have predicted that a four year old developmentally disabled child from Camden, New Jersey could have the ability to blow up a plane or terrorize other passengers.

You learn something every day.

It is even considered a lofty aspiration for Palestinian children to desire to become "martyrs" and to want to die for Allah while hunting down Jews on the streets of Jerusalem.

The psychopathic manipulation of children by cold-hearted propagandists imbuing in them a callous deisre to become mass murders is nothing short of child abuse. It is one of the worst longstanding crimes of humanity. In some instances by the time a Palestinian child comes out of the wound, he will already have had a gun placed in his hand and crowned a "Shahid" or a "Martyr for Palestine." This colluding and destruction of a child's mind should outrage the U.S., the U.N., the E.U., and every other entity and humanitarian organization of the world. There should not be any call for a renewal of peace talks until the Palestinians put an end to their cycle of indoctrination.

Unfortunately, there will not be any Goldstone reports any time soon decrying the barbarism in the Palestinian leadership systematically creating a whole generation of young killers. Therefore, those of us who remain appalled as to how the Palestinians can get away with polluting the minds of their children without any condemnation from the U.N. or calls for the Palestinian leadership to be tried at the Hague, are left with the only other viable option which is to continue reporting the truth hoping that someone out there with a conscience will finally come to their senses and take action against these Palestinian child abusers.

For the record, this past January, the following video was seen on Al Aqsa TV. In this video, a host asks a ten year old girl whether she was afraid during the last Gaza War in 2009. She responded that she was not afraid and wished for Shahada or Martyrdom for Allah. The host jubilantly responded "she is not more than ten years old, and wants to die as a Shahida (martyr) for Allah. We all wish for this.”

Here is another recent video of a Palestinian boy describing how he desires to take over Israel with "weapons and stones."

These examples are just a drop in the bucket. Over the years, there have been hundreds if not thousands of videos on PA TV and Hamas TV encouraging children to die for Allah and to kill Jews in the process.

What will Obama do when China says no?

Obama has announced that there will be "significant sanctions against Iran in weeks." However, Obama's tough talk will likely not convince the Chinese to go ahead and support sanctions. China will likely veto any U.N. Security Council Resolution that institutes sanctions against Iran.

This will be Obama's first major diplomatic showdown since taking office. Will he confront the Chinese or will he maintain that America can not be arrogant and must listen to China's concerns vis a vis sanctions?

Growing Calls for Obama to strike Iran

With Iran announcing the production of attack drones with surveillance capabilities and its continual antagonism towards Israel; two prominent Republicans have joined the bandwagon in calling on President Obama to strike Iran or back an Israeli strike on Iran.

Over the weekend, former Alaksan Governor Sarah Palin, who was John McCain's running mate in 2008, predicted that Obama could actually win in 2012 if he backs Israel and decides to strike Iran. She stated "say he decided [President Obama] to declare war on Iran or decide to really come out and do whatever he could to support Israel–which I would like him to do. That changes the dynamics of what we can assume will happen between now and three years. Because I think if the election were today, Obama would not be elected.”

Former Governor Mike Huckabee, who ran in the last Presidential election and hosts his own show on Fox News, stated on a recent trip to Israel that the U.S. should support an Israeli strike on Iran. Huckabee explained his justification for a U.S.-backed Israeli strike on Iran. He stated that Mahmoud Ahmadenijad's "rhetoric says that the Great Satan is the United States. So he sees Israel as a little devil, but he sees the Unites States as the Great Satan. Anything that is done to Israel is not being targeted solely toward Israel. The ultimate target is the United States."

Unfortunately, Huckabee, opined that Obama is "more concerned whether Jewish families build bedrooms on their apartments."

The problem, as Huckabee correctly eluded to, is that the Obama Administration does not have the philosophical mindset to support a strike on Iran. Perhaps, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton summed up the Administration's position regarding Iran when she said on CNN "in terms of a country, obviously a nuclear-armed country like North Korea or Iran pose both a real or a potential threat, but I think that most of us believe the greater threats are the trans-national non-state networks," referring to Al-Qaeda.

Shortly after Mrs. Clinton made her remarks, Iran announced that it intends on producing a 20-percent grade uranium which will undoubtedly be used as a nuclear warhead to attack Israel.

Child gives birth to a child

A 11 year old girl in the Northeastern part of the U.S. gives birth to a baby girl. She became pregnant at age ten allegedly from her boyfriend. This is unbelievable. How can a child have the physical capacity to have sex at age ten and give birth to a child at age 11? What are the psychological ramifications of a young girl, who has not even reached her teenage years, facing the daunting task of raising a child when she is a child herself? Two doctors discuss the underlying issues on Fox News seen below.

What I want to know which no one is discussing is how could this 11 year old girl's parents allow their daughter to be in a situation where she could have sex and become pregnant? Now maybe this was just an accident and nothing could have stopped this 11 yr. old girl from becoming pregnant at age ten. But there seems to more to the story. Did not anyone foresee the danger looming ahead of a 10 yr. old having a boyfriend which could lead to a sexual encounter?

Unfortunately, this girl is going to have to deal with some very difficult issues that no 11 yr. old person should have to experience. This girl will have to forgo her formative years because someone did not have the foresight to intervene and save this girl from unnecessary anguish at an early age.
